Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the 22nd day of February , A. D. 19_65 _ at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor ....Clarence A._Graves Present: Mayor Clarence A. Graves Trustees: Henry Darnels, Leo Martin, Carl Swanson, Harry Tregent Also Present: Dale G. Hill, Town Clerk Absent: Trustees Ronald Brodie, C. M. Hunter The minutes of the regular meeting held on February 8, 1965, and the special meetings held February 10 and February 16 were read and approved as read. The Clerk read in full the proposed Ordinance amending Section 4.7 of the Municipal Code of the Town of Estes Park. Trustee Carl Swanson introduced the following entitled Ordinance and moved that it be passed and adopted on second reading:. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4.7 OF THE MUNIICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, THE, SAME PERTAINING TO ADOPTION OF ORDINANCES. Trustee Leo Martin seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Henry Dannels, Leo Martin, Carl Swanson, Harry Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Graves declared said Ordinance duly passed and adopted on second reading, ordered it numbered 272,and published according to law. The Clerk read a letter from The Blue Jean Philharmonic Orchestra Association dated February 22, ,1965, and signed, by Mr. Michael Marden. This letter requested financial assistance for the Blue Jean Organization for the year 1965. Mr. Marden answered questions in regard to the plans now being made for the organization. Due to the absence of Trustees Ronald Brodie and C. M. Hunter, the Public Buildings and Parks Committee will consider the above request at a meeting to be scheduled at a later date. Trustee Leo Martin, Chairman of the Public Buildings and Parks Committee, will schedule the meeting. The Clerk read in full the Rodeo Agreement between Walter Alsbaugh and the Town of Estes Park. Trustee Harry Tregent moved the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to sign the above -mentioned agreement. Trustee Carl Swanson seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Henry Dannels, Leo Martin, Carl Swanson, Harry Tregent. Those voting "No" none. The Clerk read a liquor license application for Beer, Wine and Spirituous Liquor for sale in hotels or restaurants by the drink only. This applica- tion will be a change of ownership in the license from Curry L. Meyer, dba Meyer Black Canyon Ranch to Meyer Black Canyon Ranch, Inc. Trustee Leo Martin moved the application be approved. Trustee Henry Dannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Henry Dannels, Leo Martin, Carl Swanson, Harry Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Trustee Leo Martin, Chairman of the Public Buildings and Parks Committee, reported on a meeting of the Public Buildings and Parks Committee as itemized in their minutes of February 11, 1965, and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted. Trustee Carl Swanson seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Henry Dannels, Leo Martin, Carl Swanson, Harry Tregent. Meeting called to order by Mayor_ ._Clar_ence_ A,_ „ Present: Mayor Trustees: Also Present: Absent: Trustee Harry Tregent, Chairman of the Civil Defense Committee, reported on the recent radiological monitoring excercise held at Harry Niles' residence. Trustee Harry Tregent, Chairman of the Street Committee, reported on a recent meeting with Mr. Stempel, District Highway Engineer, in regard to the signing program for the new By -Pass intersection. The Board of Trustees studied the proposed signing program. Mr. Ned Linegar of the Chamber of Commerce announced there would be a meeting of Greeley, Loveland, Estes Park, and Ft. Collins in regard to an all-weather road through Rocky Mountain National Park on Friday, February 26, in Loveland. Mr. Ned Linegar, Chairman of the Mayor's Committee on Youth, reported on the recent meeting of this committee. There being no further business, it was regularly moved, s- onded, and carried that the meeting adjourn. Town Clerk
