Meeting called to order by Mayor .........Clarence..A_ .Graves..........._._ ....................__...._....._.. Present: Mayor Clarence A. Graves Trustees: Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, C. M. Hunter, L. Leo Martin, Carl R. Swanson, Harry Tregent. Also Present: Dale G. Hill, Town Clerk Absent: None In accordance with the official results of the regular Town Election held on April 7, 1964, and the official canvass thereof, the Clerk administered the oath of office to the following duly elected officials: Mayor: Clarence A. Graves Trustees: Ronald C. Brodie Henry D. Dannels C. M. Hunter L. Leo Martin Carl R. Swanson Harry B. Tregent The minutes of the regular meeting held March 23, 1964, were read and approved as read. Mr. Buel Porter presented a suggested design of a float to be used by the Town of Estes Park in parades, etc. The cost of this float is $800.00, No action taken at this meeting. Trustee Henry Dannels moved the following bills be allowed and paid and the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for same. (A certified copy of the bills read and allowed are on file in the office of the Town Clerk under this date and made a part of the record of these proceedings by reference thereto.) Trustee Carl Swanson seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. Mayor Graves made the following appointments for the term beginning April 13, 1964: MAYOR PRO TEM TOWN CLERK TOWN TREASURER TOWN ATTORNEY WATER SUPERINTENDENT STREET SUPERINTENDENT LIGHT & POWER SUPT, POLICE MAGISTRATE POLICE CHIEF TOWN HEALTH OFFICER TOWN ENGINEER TOWN BUILDING INSPECTOR Ronald C. Brodie Dale G. Hill Henry Dannels Ernest G. Hartwell V. L. McCracken V. L. McCracken Leon H. Sweetland, Jr, D. Eugene Green W. E. Banks J. 0, Ma11,MD. Paul H. Van Horn W. Ted Hackett Trustee Carl Swanson moved that the above appointments be approved. Trustee Henry Dannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, C. M. Hunter, L. Leo Martin, Carl R. Swanson, and Harry B. Tregent. Petrocine Trustee Henry Dannels introduced the following entitled ordinance and moved that it be passed and adopted on first and final reading: AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF A STREET OR EASEMENT DEDICATED TO PUBLIC USE IN SECOND RIVERSIDE SUBDIVISION TO THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO. Trustee Harry Tregent seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, C. M. Hunter, L. Leo Martin, Carl Swanson, and Harry Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Graves declared said ordinance duly passed and adopted on first and final reading and ordered it numbered 256 and published according to law. Trustee Ronald Brodie introduced the following entitled ordinance and moved that it be passed and adopted on second reading: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION TWO OF ORDINANCE NO. 185 OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, RELATING TO ZONING DISTRICTS AND ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY. Trustee Henry Dannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, C. M. Hunter, L. Leo Martin, Carl Swanson, and Harry Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Present: Mayor Also Present: Absent: Trustees: Mayor Graves reviewed the ambulance problem at length. The minutes of a meeting on April 6, 1964, attended by Mayor C. A. Graves, Carl Kibbey and Ted Fishburn of the Kibbey Funeral Home, James 0. Conant, and Town Clerk Dale G. Hill, were read in full. After considerable explanation and dis- cussion, Trustee Henry Dannels moved the Town Attorney be instructed to draw the necessary legal documents adopting the above minutes. Trustee Leo Martin seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, L. Leo Martin, Carl Swanson, and Harry Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Those not voting Trustee C. M. Hunter. Trustee Henry Dannels, Chairman of the Water Committee, reported on the special meeting of the Water Committee as itemized in their minutes of March 26, 1964, and moved that the same be approved and adopted. Trustee Carl Swanson seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee Henry Dannels introduced the following resolution and moved that it be adopted: RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park that the following water connect fees be adopted within the corporate limits as provided for by the Municipal Code Chapter 6.6: 1st Unit - $100.00 2nd Unit - 75.00 all over 2 Units- 50.00 The above connect fees must be paid and the units placed in service at the time of application. The above connect fees do not apply to areas now covered by special contracts or areas now assigned special connect fees. Trustee Carl Swanson seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, C. M. Hunter, L. Leo Martin, Carl Swanson, and Harry Tregent. Those voting "NO" none. Trustee Henry Dannels, Chairman of the Water Committee reported on the regular meeting of the Water Committee as itemized in their minutes of of &its Pak, Larimer County, Colorado, April Minutes of a __ _ meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Larimer County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the 13r_h_ day of_ April , A, D. 19.64 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Elarenc_e_A_ nrave_s_ Present: Mayor Also Present: Absent: Trustees: April 1, 1964, and moved that the same be approved and adopted. Trustee Carl Swanson seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Mayor Graves announced the next Board of Trustees meeting scheduled for April 27, 1964, will be delayed and scheduled for Tuesday, April 28, 1964.
