Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, John Ramey, Carl Swanson Also Present: Dale G. Hill, Town Clerk Absent: Mayor Clarence A. Graves Minutes of a regular meeting held on March 9, 1964, read and approved as read. Trustee John Ramey introduced the following entitled Ordinance, and moved that it be passed and adopted on second reading: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 12 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, THE SAME RELATING TO ZONING. Trustee Henry Dannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, John Ramey, and Carl Swanson. Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Pro Tem Ronald C. Brodie declared said Ordinance duly passed and adopted on second reading and ordered it numbered 254 and published according to law. Mayor Pro Tem Ronald C. Brodie proceeded to conduct a public hearing in regard to the proposed rezoning of the following described property: Lake Vue Tracts Subdivision Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 are proposed to be re- zoned from the existing R-1 Residential District to a C-2 Restricted Commercial District. Mr. Edward Hummer spoke in favor of the rezoning. There was no one present to speak in opposition to the rezoning. The Clerk received no correspondence either for or against the rezoning. Trustee Henry Dannels introduced the following entitled Ordinance and moved that it be passed on first reading: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION TWO OF' ORDINANCE NO. 185.OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, RELATING TO ZONING DISTRICTS AND ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY. Trustee John Ramey seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, John Ramey, and Carl Swanson. Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Pro Tem Ronald Brodie declared said Ordinance duly passed on first reading. This Ordinance will be read again in the meeting scheduled for April 13, 1964. The Clerk read an application from J. P. Haller, DBA Jax Snax for a renewal to sell 3.2% beer only. The Clerk also read the Police report on the above establishment. Trustee Henry Dannels moved the application be approved. Trustee William Grove seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Sweetland, Jr., Light and Power Superintendent, reported to the Board of Trustees on the problem facing the Town of Estes Park in re- gard to 'purchase power. Mr. Sweetland reviewed the growth of the Light and Power Department and informed the Trustees that by 1970, a new source of power may be necessary. Detailed charts of the Town's load growth were reviewed by the Trustees. Trustee Henry Dannels moved Superintendent Sweetland's report beKa.ccepted and that he proceed with his work in relation to this project. Trustee William Grove seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. There being no further business, it was regularly moved, seconded, and carried that the meeting adjourn. Mayor Pro Tem Town Clerk
