Hill, Town Clerk Absent: Trustee Henry Dannels Minutes of a regular meeting held. on February 10, 1964, read and approved as read. Trustee John Ramey introduced the following Ordinance and moved that it be passed and adopted on second reading: AN ORDINANCE GRANTING CERTAIN RIGHTS TO THE MOUNTAIN STATES TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY, ITS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, IN THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, STATE OF COLORADO, AND IMPOSING CERTAIN REGULATIONS AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATIONS THEREOF. Trustee William Grove seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, William Grove, John Ramey, Richard Snart, and Carl Swanson. Those voting � "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Graves declared said Ordinance duly passed/or1^" second reading and ordered it numbered 251 and published according to law. Trustee Carl Swanson introduced the following Ordinance and moved that it be passed on first reading: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION TWO OF ORDINANCE NO. 185 OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, RELATING TO ZONING. DISTRICTS AND ZONING CERTAIN LAND. Trustee Ronald Brodie seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, William Grove, John Ramey, Richard Snart, and Carl Swanson. Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Graves declared said Ordinance duly passedon first reading and ordered it numbered 252 andpublished according to law. This Ordinance will be read again on March 9, 1964. Trustee Richard Snart introduced. the following Ordinance and moved that it be passed on first reading: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION TWO OF ORDINANCE NO. 185 OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, RELATING TO ZONING DISTRICTS AND ZONING CERTAIN LAND. Trustee Carl Swanson seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald. Brodie, William Grove, John Ramey, Richard Snart, and Carl Swanson. Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Graves declared said Ordinance d.uly passed on first reading and ordered it numbered 253 and published according to law. This Ordinance will be read again on March 9, 1964. Due to the absence of Trustee Henry Dannels, the liquor hearing scheduled for February 24, 1964, must be continued to March 9, 1964. Present: Mayor Trustees: Also Present: Absent: The Clerk read the minutes of a regular meeting of the Estes Park Planning Commission heldin the Town Hall on February 18, 1964, at 4:00 p.m. In regard to this meeting, the Planning Commission, with the advice of Trafton Bean and Associates, Planning Consultants, has made the following recommenda- tion that the Town of Estes Park Board of Trustees amend Chapter 12.10-1 Paragraph Two (a) of the Municipal Code to read as follows: "The following uses are not permitted: public auctions, livery stables, shooting galleries, processing of dairy and poultry products, petroleum products and liquified gas bulk storage facilities." Trustee Ronald Brodie moved. Town Attorney Ernest G. Hartwell be, instructed to draw the necessary Ordinance to incorporate the above suggested changes in the zoning. Trustee Richard Snart seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, William Grove, John Ramey, Richard Snart, and Carl Swanson. Those voting "No" none. Upon the recommendation of the Estes Park Planning Commission at their February 18, 1964, meeting, Trustee Carl Swanson moved the Town of Estes Park publish the necessary legal notices and conduct a public hearing on March 23, 1964, regarding the petition to rezone Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 of Lake Vue Tracts Addition to the Town of Estes Park from the existing R-1 Residential District to a C-2 Restricted Commercial District. Trustee Ronald Brodie seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, William Grove, John Ramey, Richard Snart, and, Carl Swanson. Those voting "No" none. The Clerk read in full the lease agreement prepared by Town Attorney Ernest G. Hartwell between the Town of Estes Park and the Estes Park Center for Research and Education . Trustee John Ramey moved the Mayor and Clerk be authorized and are hereby directed to sign the above -mentioned lease after the officers of the Estes Park Center for Research and. Education have executed this lease. Trustee Carl Swanson seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, William Grove, John Ramey, Richard Snart, and Carl Swanson. Those voting "No" none. Trustee Ronald Brodie moved the annual fifty percent reduction on Light and Power bills be changed to include, the Christmas holidays. Trustee William Grove seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee Ronald Brodie, Chairman of the Lightand Power Committee reported on the regular meeting of the Light and Power Committee as itemized in their minutes of February 18, 1964, and moved that the same be approved and adopted.
