Graves Trustees: Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, John Ramey, Carl Swanson Also Present: Dale G. Hill, Town Clerk Absent: Trustee Richard Snart Minutes of the Regular Meeting held on October 28, 1963, read and approved as read. Trustee Carl Swanson moved the following bills be allowed and paid and the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for same. (A certified copy of the bills read and allowed are on file in the office of theTown Clerk under this date and made a part of the record of these proceedings by reference thereto.) Trustee William Grove seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. The Board of Trustees discussed the methods of the departmenth of the Town in regard to the purchases of tires. It was the decision of the Trustees all future purchases of tires will be by bid. Mr. G. J. Paglia, DBA Tony's Pizza, submitted an application for a Retail Fermented Malt Beverage License. In accordance with the state law, Mayor Graves scheduled a public hearing on this license for December 9, 1963, at 7:30 P.M., and ordered the necessary publications and the posting of the premises. O. M. Nagl, DBA the Wheel, submitted an application for renewal of his Beer, Wine, and Spirituous Liquor License for sale,in hotels or restaurants by the drink only. Trustee Henry Dannels moved theapplication be approved. Trustee John Ramey seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes' Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, John Ramey, and Carl Swanson. Those voting "No" none. Martha D. and Everett R. Anderson, DBA Jolly Jug Liquor Store, submitted an application for renewal of their Retail Liquor Store License for sale by the package only. Trustee Carl Swanson moved the application be approved. Trustee Ronald Brodie seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, John Ramey, and Carl Swanson. Those voting "No" none. Hans and Catherine Gartner, DBA Gartner Haus, submitted an application for renewal of their Beer, Wine, and Spirituous Liquor License for sale in hotels or restaurants by the drink only. Trustee Ronald Brodie moved the application be approved. 'Trustee Carl Swanson seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, John Ramey, and Carl Swanson. Those voting "No" none. Application was received from Riverside, Inc., DBA Dark Horse Inn, for a Beer,Wine, and Spirituous Liquor License for sale in hotels or restaurants by the drink only. Trustee William Grove moved the application be approved. Trustee Henry Dannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Present: Mayor Also Present: Absent: Trustees: Mayor Graves submitted the following names for membership in the Estes Park Horse Show and Rodeo Association for the 1963-1964 year: Glenn Prosser, Chairman; Bill Finlay; Bob Dekker; El DuTeau; Orville Thomas; Ned Linegar; Ann Leonard; Dr. Curry Meyer; Jerry Brownfield; Dale Ver Straeten; Bill May; Dwight Adrian; George Lambert; Bill Hadden; George Havens; George Menard; David Boore; E. S. Erickson; Babe Humphrey; and Harry Miles. Trustee John Ramey moved the approval of the Estes Park Horse Show and Rodeo Committee as submitted by Mayor Graves. Trustee Henry Dannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, John Ramey, and Carl Swanson. Those voting "No" none. Mr. Glenn Prosser, Chairman of the Estes Park Horse Show and Rodeo Committee, briefed the Board of Trustees on the activities planned for the 1964 year. Mayor Graves proceeded to hold a public hearing on the Building Exits Code. Trustee Carl Swanson introduced the following entitled ordinance and moved that it be passed and adopted on second reading: AN ORDINANCE REGULATING BUILDING EXITS IN THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO. ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE BUILDING EXITS CODE FOR LIFE SAFETY FROM FIRE NINETEENTH EDITION, 1963. AMENDING SECTION 11.3 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, CO]ARADO. Trustee William Grove seconded the motion. Upon'roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Henry Dannels; Ronald Brodie, William Grove, John Ramey, Carl Swanson. Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Clarence Graves decla±ed said Otdinance duly passed and adopted on said reading and ordered it numbered 246 and published according to law. Trustee Ronald Brodie, Chairman of the Light and Power Committee, moved the Town receive bids for a k ton piokup. Trustee William Grove seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, John Ramey, and Carl Swanson; Those voting "No" none. Trustee William Grove, Civil Defense Director, reported on the conference recently held in Greeley. Trustee Henry Dannels, Chairman of the Water Committee, reported on the regular meeting of the Water Committee as itemized in their minutes of November 4, 1963, and moved that the same be approved and adopted. Trustee William Grove seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. The Municipal League meeting for this area will be held in Loveland on November 18. The County Health Department will hold a meeting in the Council Room on the November 19 for the purpose of discussing public health and sanitation requirements for camping areas and campgrounds.
