Meeting called to order by Mayor_ ......C7_ar_ence_,,..Graves.-___.._._.__.___. at regular Present: Mayor Clarence A. Graves Trustees: Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, John Ramey, Carl Swanson, Richard Snart Also Present: Dale G. Hill, Town Clerk Absent: None Minutes of the regular meeting held on August 26, 1963, read and approved as read. The Clerk presented the application for a renewal of the restaurant -liquor license of Richard Lutz, Coach House, Estes Park, Colorado. Trustee Richard Snart moved the application for renewal be approved. Trustee Henry Dannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Henry Dannels, Ronald Brodie, William Grove, John Ramey, Carl Swanson, and Richard Snart. Those voting "No" none. Mayor Graves presented detailed statements of the Light and Power Fund and the General Fund. After considerable discussion, Trustee Ronald Brodie introduced the following entitled ordinance and moved that it be passed and adopted on first reading: AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR THE TOWN OF ESTES PAR COLORADO, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING ON THE 1ST DAY OF JANUARY, 1964, AND ENDING ON THE LAST DAY OF DECEMBER, 1964, ESTIMATING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAX LEVY BASED ON THE SAID BUDGET SO ADOPTED; ESTIMATING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY TO BE DERIVED FROM OTHER REVENUE SOURCES; AND SETTING FORTH THE TOTAL ESTIMATED EXPENDITURES FOR EACH FUND. Trustee Carl Swanson seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Henry Dannels, Ronald Brodie, William Grove, John Ramey, Carl Swanson, and Richard Snart. Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Clarence Graves declared said Ordinance duly passed and adopted on said reading and ordered it numbered 243 and published according to law. Trustee Richard Snart introduced the following entitled ordinance and moved that it be passed and adopted on first reading: AN ORDINANCE LEVYING TAXES FOR THE YEAR 1964, TO DEFRAY THE COSTS OF MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1964, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1964. Trustee John Ramey seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Henry Dannels, Ronald Brodie, William Grove, John Ramey, Carl Swanson, and Richard Snart. Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Clarence Graves declared said Ordinance duly passed and adopted on said reading and ordered it numbered 244 and published according to law. Meeting called to order by Mayor Cl Present: Mayor Also Present: Trustees: Absent: THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE: APPROPRIATING SUMS OF MONEY TO DEFRAY EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, FOR THE TOWN'S FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1964, AND ENDING ON THE LAST DAY OF DECEMBER, 1964. Trustee William Grove seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Henry Dannels, Ronald Brodie, William Grove, John Ramey, Carl Swanson, and Richard Snart. Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Clarence Graves declared said Ordinance duly passed and adopted on said reading and ordered it numbered 245 and published according to law. Mayor Clarence A. Graves submitted to the Trustees the proposed Ordinance on subdivision regulations. Each Trustee was given a copy of the proposed subdivision regulations. Further discussion of this proposed Ordinance will be at the next regular meeting. Trustee Ronald Brodie moved the Light and Power Department be authorized to install cement pillars at the pole yard at an estimated cost of $400.00. Trustee John Ramey seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Henry Dannels, Ronald Brodie, William Grove, John Ramey, Carl Swanson, and Richard Snart. Those voting "No" none. Trustee Carl Swanson, Chairman of the Public Sanitation Committee, announced his committee is negotiating with the National Park Service on a proposed dump contract. When the contract is complete, it will be presented to the Trustees for their consideration. Trustee Henry Dannels, Chairman of the Water Committee, reported on the regular meeting of the Water Committee, as itemized in their minutes of September 3, 1963, and moved that the same be approved and adopted. Trustee Richard Snart seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Henry Dannels, Ronald Brodie, William Grove, John Ramey, Carl Swanson, and Richard Snart. Those voting "No" none.
