Graves Meeting called to order by Mayor , Present: Mayor Clarence A. Graves Trustees: Henry Dannels, Wm. Grove, John Ramey, Carl Swanson Also Present: Dale G. Hill, Town Clerk; Ernest Hartwell, Town Attorney Absent: Trustees, Ronald C. Brodie and Richard Snart Minutes of the regular meeting held on December 10, 1962 read and approved as read. Trustee Carl Swanson moved the following bills be allowed and paid and the Clerk pe authorized to draw warrants for same: (A certified copy of the bills read and allowed are on file in. the office of the Town Clerk under this date and made a part of the, record of these proceedings by reference thereto.) Trustee William Grove seconded the motion. Upon roll call motion unanimously carried. The Town Board proceeded to hold a public hearing on the proposed re -zoning of Lot 12 South Saint Vrain Addition to the Town of Estes Park from the existing U-Unclassified District to an I-1 Restricted Industrial District. Mr. and Mrs. Soglow spoke opposing the re-zonipgdifter considerable discussion Trustee Henry Dannels moved the Town accept the recommendation of the Estes Park. Planning Commission and pass an ordinance re -zoning Lot 12 South Saint Vrain Addition to the Town of Estes Park from the existing U-Unclassified District to an I-1 Restricted Industrial District. Trustee William Grove seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion carried by the following votes. Those voting "yes" Trustees Henry Dannels, William Grove, John Ramey and Carl Swanson. Those voting "no" none. Trustee John Ramey introduced the following entitled ordinance and moved that it be passed and adopted on second reading: AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN EASEMENT OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, IN LOTS 8, 14 AND 29, VILLAGE ACRES SUBDIVISION, AN ADDITION TO THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO AND AUTHORIZING A MAW THEREOF Trustee Henry Dannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion was passed by the following votes. Those voting "yes" Trustees, Henry Dannels, Wm. Grove, John Ramey and Carl Swanson. Those voting "no" none. Whereupon Mayor Clarence Graves declared said ordinance duly passed and adopted, ordered it numbered 235 and published according to law. The Town Clerk presented the application of Ronald C. Brodie for a Beer License renewal. Trustee Carl Swanson moved the'aippliCatibn'be .pProved. Trustee John Ramey seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion was carried. ' Mayor Clarence Graves presented the annual Financial Report of the Estes Park Volunteer Fire Department. Trustee Carl Swanson moved this report be accepted. Graves Present: Mayor Also Present: Absent: Trustees: Mayor Clarence Graves announced the resit -tion of Jack Schlendorf as president of the Estes Park Horse Show and Rodeo Committee and the appointment of Dale VerStraeten as the new president. The following are appointments as members of the Estes Park Horse Show and Rodeo Committee: Glen Prosser, Loretta Hart, Dale VerStraeten, Curry Meyer, Orville Thomas, Bob Dekker, Bill May, Bill Finlay, Dwight Adrian,, Jerry Brownfield, Darwin Staley, Elsworth Duteau, Ann Leonard, George Lambert and Ned Linegar, Ex-Officio. Trustee Henry )- els moved these appointments be accepted. Trustee John Ramey seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. Trustee Henry Dannels reported on the re;. -r meeting of the Water Committee as itemized in their minutes of January 7, 1963 and moved that the same be approved.
