Minutes of a _ meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes
Park, Larimer County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of
Estes Park on the 19th_ _day of _April , A. D. 19_6a_ at radar
meeting hour.

This special meeting called by Mayor Graves for the purpose of considering a
petition and plats for a proposed annexation of territory. Mr. E. R. Smith
appeared before the Board and presented the proposed annexation. Petition and
plat are filed by Elmer R. Smith, William E. Burgess, Robert E. Burgess and
D. D. Shanks, who represent themselves to be the sole owners of the territory
proposed to be annexed. The Board analyzed the proposal in detail; whereupon,
Trustee Ramey introduced the following resolution and moved that it be passed
and adopted:
RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED by the to.rd of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park
that the Board of Trustees does hereby accept the petition to
annex the territory designated as a portion of Section 20, Town-
ship 5 N. Range 72 West of the 6th P.M., Larimer County, Colorado
to be known as "Lone Pine Addition to the Town of Estes Park,
Colorado", and the Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to give notice of the substance of the Petition, the date of
filing, the n moer of persons signing, a description of the ter-
ritory included in the proposed annexation, and a statement that
land owners of the area may express their o...sition to the annexa-
tion and secure an election by complying with the provisions of
Chapter 139, Section 4, Article 11, Colorado Revised Statutes of.
1953. Such notice shall be published once each week for three.
successive weeks in the Estes Park Trail, a weekly newspaper of general
circulation published in the Town of Estes Park, Colorado.
Trustee Jones seconded the motion. Upon roll call said Resolution was duly
passed and adopted by the following vote: those voting "yes" Trustees Brodie,
Dannels, Grove, Jones, Ramey. Those voting "no", none. Whereupon, Mayor
Graves declared said resolution duly passed and adopted.
There being no further business at this special meeting; it was 7.filiularly
moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn.
