Minutes of a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes
Park, Larimer County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE LICENSING, INOCULATION,
REGULATION AND CONTROL OF DOGS WITHIN THE TOWN OF
ESTES PARK, COLORADO, AND PROVIDING. PENALTIES FOR THE
VIOLATION OF THE ORDINANCE.
Said Ordinance was then read in full. Trustee Grove seconded the motion.
Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yes"
and in .favor of the ordinance, Trustees Dannels, Grove, Herzog, Ramey and
Snart. Those voting No none. WHEREUPON Mayor Graves declared said Ordinance
passed and adopted, ordered it Number 199 and published according to law.
Mr. Phil Lancaster, Joe Horton and Dwight Adrian representing the Estes Park
Lions Club appeared before the Board and presented a tentative plan to make
certain emprovements at Stanley Park to be paid from the profits derived from
the concession operations of the Lions Club at Stanley Parl. The plan met
with general acceptance of the Board and Mayor Graves announced that he would
review the plan with the Estes Park Rodeo Association,
Mayor Graves announced that due to cluage caused and excess cost involved
and, at the request of the Rodeo Association, that the stalls at Stanley Park
were no longer available to the public on a monthly rental basis.
Trustee Danne.is reporte on the monthly meeting of the Water Committee held
on September 1, 1959 and moved that, the action be approved. Trustee Grove
seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried.
The Clerk reported that he had met with Mr. Ross Powell of the Highway Department
and that plans were being made by the department to rebuild the bridge at the
west end of Elkhorn Avenue.
The Board again discussed the detrimental affect upon the committee caused by
numerous signs posted on places of business relating to end of season sales,
quitting business sales, etc. The Clerk was instructed to again contact the
Town Attorney in an attempt to enforce some type of regulation.
There being no further business, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried
that the meeting adjourn.
