Minutes of a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Larimer County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the_24til day of_ AU&Sitt , A. D. 1959__ at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Cla.rAnon _A._ Gravan Present: Mayor Clarence A. Graves Trustees: Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels William Grove, Charles Herzog, John Ramey ) Also Present: Verne H. Fanton, Town Clerk Absent: Trustee Richard Snart Minutes of the regular meeting held on August 10, 1959 read and approved as read. The Clerk presented certified copies of the Annual Audit of the Water Department for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1959 as submitted by Edward M. Holmes, CPA of Denver. The Board reviewed and discussed the audit and unanimously accepted it. Mayor Graves together with the Town Clerk explained the necessity of having legal advice available on certain occasions to represent the Town and Police Court. Trustee Ramey moved that Mayor Graves be authorized to employ Mr. H. F. Miller, Attorney at Law on a case fee basis whenever in his opinion the circumstances warrant it. Trustee Herzog seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. In discussing the Town's position as stockholders of the Estes Park Golf and Country Club Corporation, Trustee Herzog moved that. Mayor Graves be authorized to sign a request for a special stockholders meeting. Trustee Daniels seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. Mayor Graves presented a surveyor's plat of the site surrounding the bridge on East Riverside Drive and recommended that plans be made to widen the bridge. Trustee Darnels moved that the Street and Alley Committee be authorized to prepare plans and estimated cost of the project. Trustee Herzog seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. Trustee Ramey reported on additional information obtained from the City of Boulder Ordinance regulating dogs. The Board being of the opinion that parts of the Boulder Ordinance would be more acceptable than the proposed ordinance now on file. The Clerk was instructed to prepare another ordinance for con— sideration.
