Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the. day of September , A. D. 1958 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Clarence A. Graves Present; Mayor Clarence A. Graves Trustees: Ronald Brodie, William Grove, John Ramey, Fti Also Present: Verne H. Fanton, Town Clerk and Orley O. Phill 8th Henry. Darnels, Charles Herzog, chard. Smart ips and. Walt Colwell, Town Engineers Absent: - None Minutes of the regular meeting held. on, Au st 25 and the special meeting held on. September 5 read and approved as read. In accordance with previous action. of the Board, the Towns Consulting Engineers filed a written recommendation with the Board regarding the awarding of a contract for the installation of the Fall River Water Treatment Plant and,. Pipe Line. The Board. reviewed the, recommendation together with the Town Water Department' 5 finances. After full consideration, Trustee Dannels moved that the Town. award the contract for the installation of the Water Treatment Plant at a. price of $136,921.90 together. with. a contract for the installation of the Fall River Pipe Line at a cost of $139,387.46 to the Hensel Phelps Construction Company of Greeley. Trustee Herzog seconded the motion. Upon roll.. call said motion carried,by the following vote: The se voting "Yes" Trustees -Brodie , Dannels , Grove, Herzog, Ramey and. Snart Those voting No none. The Board then discussed the importance of the Addendan to the pipe line contract as compared with the available finances. It appearing that sufficient finances not being available at this time, Trustee Dannele moved that the Addendum be deleted from the contracts. Trustee Grove seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried, Trustee Brodie moved that the following bills be allowed,and paid and that the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for same. Trustee Dannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call saidnation unanimously carried. Dannela introduced and there was read in full. the followiAg entitled Ordinance: ORDINANCE NO, 188 AN ORDINANCE TO CONTRACT AN INDEBTEDNESS, ON BEHAIF OF THE M OF ESTER PARK, COLORADO, AND UPON THE CREDIT THEREOF BY ISSUING BONDS OF SAID TOWN IN THE PRINCIPAL SUM $350,000 FOR EXTENDING A.N. IMPROVING ITS WATERWORKS SYSTEM: PRESCRIBING THE FORM OF SAID BONDS; PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY OF TAXES TO PAY THE SAME: AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. It was then. moved. by.
