D. 19___5.7at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Clarence A. Graves Present: Mayor Clarence A. Graves Trustees: N.L. Bartlett, Henry Dannels, Charles Herzog, John Ramey, Richard Snart. Also Present: Verne H. Fanton, Town Clerk Minutes of the regular meeting held on February 25th, and the Special meeting held on March 7th, read and approved as read. Trustee Dannels moved that the following bills be allowed and paid, and that the ft= :.::g Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for same: Trustee Herzog seconded the motion: Andy Jones, premium 154.24 Circle S Motors, services 39.73 Conny's Motor Co., supplies 1.50 Continental 011 Co. supplies 448.58 E.P. The Clerk was instructed to purchase a United States Flag and a Colorado State Flag, on standards, to be displayed in the Council room. Mr. Louis Caniay appeared before the Board and ask what progress was being made on the water rate study and survey. Mr. Caniay was in- formed that the findings and recommendations being prepared by Clarence Hoper and Company of Denver, would be presented and available within 30 days. In further discussithe need for dogs within the Town having rabie shots, Trustee Ramey moved that in the interest of public health, the Board order that all dogs be inoculated against rabies not later than April 15th, and that the Clerk arrange for Dr. Jack Sohrbeck of Loveland, be in Estes Park on March 30th to perform this service. Trustee Dannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yes" Trustees Bartlett, Dannels, Herzog, Ramey and Snart. Those votine "No" none. The Clerk ask for an intrepretation of the Fireworks Ordinance. The Board declared that cap guns and small noVless fire fountains are permitted, all other forms of fireworks are prohibited, except by permit under terms of the Ordinance. 4 4 rt ,tvga. Meeting called to order by Mayor. --- Present: Mayor Trustees: Trustee Herzog introduced the following Resolution and moved tha it be passed and adopted: R E S OL U T I 0 N WHEREAS, the Town of Estes Park has in effect many normal, regulatory, Ordinances, relating to construction, buildings, zoning, public rights -of -way, and public health and safety; AND WHEREAS, in the public interest, said Ordinances require permits to be issued and inspections made; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, that there is hereby created the office of "Building Inspector" with all powers and duties delagated to said office by Ordinance and by the Board of Trustees; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Town Engineer and his assisstant is hereby appointed to fill said office, to hold office until their. successor is appointed. Trustee Snart ameconded the motion. Upon roll call sand motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "yes" Trustees Bartlett, Dan Herzog, Ramey and. Snart. Those voting "nod None. The Town Engineer, Mr. Paul Van Horn, appeared before, the Board and briefly reviewed the proposed Uniform Building Code. The Board der. clared that the Code should be clarified to clearly prohibit the parking of a house trailer within the corporate limits, except within a licensed trailer camp. The Board ordered the house trailer that was recently moved onto Lot 11, Block 2, of Reclamation Subidvision, re- moved by January 1, 1958. Mr. Van Horn reported that he had completed a week of instruction on the Uniform Building Code, at Colorado A. &M. College, and that the Ordinance would be ready for consideration at the next meeting. After detail review by the Board, Trustee Herzog introduced the following entitled Ordinance and moved that it be passed and adopted1 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 168 OF THE ORDINANCES OF' THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK COLORADO, PASSED AND ADOPTED ON THE llth day of FEBRUARY, 1957, AND BEING ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE ZONING THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, AND REPEALING ORDINANCES NO. 152, 156, 158, and 161 of THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO. Said Ordinance was then read in full. Trustee Ramey seconded the motion. Upon roll call said Ordinance was passed and adopted by the following vote: Those voting "yea" Trustees Bartlett, Dannels, Herzog, Ramey and Snart. Those voting "no" none. Whereupon Mayor Graves declared said Ordinance adopted, ordered it numbered 169, and published according to law. There being no further business to come before the meeting, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn. ayi r Attest:
