Minutes of a reFlar meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Larimer County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the 14th day of _e_g_egte:Aber_____...., A. D. 1957---- at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Clarence A. Graves Present: Mayor Clarence A. Graves Trustees: N.L. Bartlett, Ronald Brodie Henry Dannels, Charles Herzog, John Ramey, Richard Snart. Also Present: Verne H. Fanton, Town Clerk Absent: none. Minutes of the regular meeting held on August 27th, read and approved. Trustee Snart moved that the following baills be allowed and paid, and that the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for same: Trustee Dannels seconded the motion. A Certified copy of the bills read and allowed are on file in the office of the Town Clerk, under this date, and made a part of the record of these proceedings by reference thereto. Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yes" Trustees Bartlett, Brodie, Dannels, Herzog, R ey and Snart. Those voting "No" none. Mr. Russell McKelvey and Mr. Charles Kremenak appeared before the Board, representing the Estes Park Rodeo Association, and presented a financial statement of the operations of the Association for the season. The Board reviewed the statement, declared it to be satis- factory, and that the events were well managed. Mr. Kremenak suggested that the Town Board appoint the officers for the Association for the coming year. Mr. McKelvey pointed out that the needs for the Stanley Park grounds for the ooming year would be new chutes, an additional water tap and lights for the parking area. Trustee Dannels reported on the monthly meeting of the Water Committee, including a need for a new pickup. The Board instruoted the Clerk to ask for bide on a trade-in basis. A letter from Mrs. Neva Dryden under date of August llth, was re- viewed by the Board. The Board referred to the Town's letter of May 21, 1957, and stated that there appears to be no change in the Town's position regarding the matter. Mayor Graves ask thee Board to decide whether 2 or 3 policemen should be employed during the ooming winter. There was no decision on the question at this time. The Clerk presented an application from Mr. E.S. Erickson aski that Lot 6 of Pineaod acres subdivision be annexed to the Town, and stated that the request had been approved by the Planning Commission. Trustee Dannels moved that the request be approved. Trustee' Herzog seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
