Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the. 26th day of ___.D.ea. , A. D. 19..56._ at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor._ _C1ArPY1Cq A . GraIrAe Present: Mayor Clarence A. Graves Trustees: N.L. Bartlett, Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, Charles Herzgg, John Ramey, Richard Snart. Also Present: Verne H. Fenton, Town Clerk Absent: None. Minutes of the regular meeting held on December loth, and the Special meeting held on December 14th read and approved as read. Mayor Graves appointed D. Eugene Green to the office of Police Magistrate, to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Claude A. Davis. Trustee Ramey moved that the appointment be approved. Trustee Brodie seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. The Clerk presented the appropriation Ordinance in final form. The Board held considerable detail discussion regarding occupation tax revenue as affiliated with advertising and golf course expenditures. After final review, Trustee Dannele introduced the following entitled Ordinance and moved that it be passed and adopted: ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1957 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1957 Said Ordinance was then read in full. Trustee Ramey seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion passed and said Ordinance adopted by the following vote: Those voting "Yes" Trustees Bartlett, Brodie, Dannele, Herzog, Ramey and Snart. Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Graves ordered said Ordinance numbered 166 and published acoording to law. Trustee Brodie reported on the monthly meeting of the Light & Power Committee, and then moved that the committee be authorized to install up to 20 new street lights during the coming year. Trustee Dannele seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. Trustee Herzog reported that as a result of the Special meeting held on December 14th, plans should be developed toward the proposal to lease the country club property to the Recreation District. Mayor Graves ask that the Committee present complete details of items to be included in the lease for Board review before the lease is drawn. The Board reviewed a proposed schedule of fees to be used in 1957, for the use of the city dump by persons living outside the corporate limits. Certain changes were made and added to be submitted at the next meeting for approval. There being no further business to come before the meetin regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting Attest: t was urn.
