Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the. day of Sept • , A. D. 1954._. at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Clarence A. Graves nth Present: Mayor Clarence A. Graves Trustees: Roneld. C. Brodie, Henry Dannels, Charles Herzog, Jess Poling, George Watson. Also Presnet: Verne H. Fenton, Town Clerk, Town Attorneys Hatfield Chilson & Robert McCreary. Absent: Trustee A.G. Fisk. Minutes of the regular meeting held on Sept. 13th, read and approved. Mr. J.B. Cookson, Mr. Richard Tremmel & Mr. A.J. Hoover, of the Denver office of the Bureau of Reclamation, appeared before the Board, and presented a draft of a proposed new purchcse power contract, between the Town and the Bureau of Reclamation. The proposed contract was reviewed, discussed and explained, in detail, by all present. Mr. Leon Sweetland and Mr. Carl Bailey of the Town Light & Power Dept. was also present and entered into the discussion. With some revision to be made the repreeentatives of the Bureau stated that they would present a con- tract in final form. Mr. Bill Watson appeared and ask approval of a building permit for the construction of a storage garage and automobile repilr shop. The stated use of the building being within the Ordinance, the application was approved. The Clerk presented an application from Wayne Noyes for erection of an airplane hanger at the air -strip. Due to the fact that the strip is not approved end closed, the application was denied. The Board reviewed the finances of the General Fund, together with estimated needs, revenues and valuations for 1955. Following the dis cussion Trustee Brodie introduced the following Resolution and moved that it be adopted: RESOLUTION WHEREAS, it is the duty of the Board of Trustees of -the Town of Estes Park, Colorado, to make the annual levy to pay the expenses of the Town Bovernment for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1955; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, that there is hereby levied on all the taiable property within the corporate limits, for the fecal year beginning January 1, 1955 and ending December 31, 1955 (the same being based on the assessed val- uation made in the year 1954 and to be collected in the year 1955) a total levy for all purposes of Fourteen and Four -Tenths (14.4) mills on each dollar of assessed valuation of said property. Trustee Herzog seconded the motion. Upon roll call saidmotion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yes" Trustees Brodie, Dannels, Herzog, Poling and Watson. Those voting "No" None. Trustee Herzog introduced the following entitled Ordinance and moved that it be adopted: AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, TO BE KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS "SOUTH SAINT VRAIN ADDITION TO THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLO. TrusteeDannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yes" Trustees Brodie, Dannels, Herzog, Poling and Watson. "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Graves declared said Ordinance duly passed and adopted, ordered it numbered 148 and published according to law. The Board unanimously approved payment to Poling Electric Co. for services at Stanley Park, in the amount of $ 1032.00. 7 Tam of COWS Park, Larimer County, Colorado, , 19 Minutes of a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Larimer County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the day of , A. D. 19 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Present: Mayor Trustees: The Board approved an application from Mr. Vernon Eiker for the installation of a swimming pool and set the rate for water used at 10¢ per hundred gallons for filling pool, and a daily water rent of 25¢ for a pool of approximately 20,000 gallon capacity. There being no further business to come beofre the meeting, the meeting adjourned. Attest:
