Minutes of a regular
meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Latimer
County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the. 16th
day of March , A. D. 19...o3 at regular meeting hour.
Meeting called to order by Mayor Clarence A. Graves
Present: Mayor Clarence A. GravesTrustees: G.E. Casey, Henry Dannels,
Charles L. Herzog, Bert J. McConnell, Jess Poling, George H. Watson.
Also Present: Lee H. Tallant, Supt. of Works
Dale Hill, Acting Clerk
Absnet: Verne H. Fanton, Town Clerk
Minutes of the regular meeting held on February 23, read and approved.
Trustee Poling moved that the following bills be allowed and paid,
and that the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for same: Trustee
Casey seconded the motion:

Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those
votaing "Yes" Trustees Casey, Dannels, Herzog, McConnell, Poling
and Watson. Those voting "No", none.
A letter from Robert S. Mitchell, Attorney for Mathew H. Landers,
under date of March 6, 1953, regarding application for a liquor license
at the El Rancho property was read to the Board. Following the dis-
cussion, Trustee Casey moved to table the application indefinitly.
Trustee Poling seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion
carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yes" Trustees Casey,
Poling, Watson, Dannels, Those voting '"No" none.
Chairman Poling of the Street & Alley Committee reported that the
committee had held a meeting on llth day of March, that Trustees
Poling, Watson, Dannels, Mayor Graves, Lee Tallant and Verne Fanton
were present. Following the report and discussion the Board auth-
orized Lee Tallant to purchase a new roller for the street department
at a cost of approxiametly $ 3,400.00.
The Board discussed, the possibility of keeping the public rest rooms
open during the winter months. Mayor Graves asked the Public Build-
ing committee to investigate and report.
Trustee Watson reported on the Light & Power Department, including
additional street lights. The Board authorized Joe Horton to attend
the annual meter school in Denver, at a cost of about $ 80.00
Mayor Graves announced that an additional policeman had been employd
for the season.
Mayor Graves instructed the Water Department Committee to investigate
the existing water rates, as applied to hotels and motels.

were also discusqed by the Mayor and the Board.
There being no further businese to come before the Board, it

meeting adjourn.
