Manic Of euteq Park, Larimer County, Colorado, May 12 1952 17 Minutes of a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Larimer County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the. day of MAY , A. D. 19.52._ at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Clarence A. Graves ],2th_ Present: Mayor Clarence A. Graves Trustees: Henry Dannels, Chas. L. Herzog, Bert J. McConnell, Jess Poling, George H. Watson. Also Present: Lee H. Tallant, Supt. of Works Verne H. Fenton, Town Clerk Absent: Trustee G.E. Casey. Minutes of the regular meeting held on April 28, 1952, read and approved as read. Trustee Jess Poling moved that the following bills be allowed and paid, and that the Clerk be instructed to draw warm+nts for same: Trustee Herzog seconded the motion: McMurtry Seed Co. supplies 12. Liberty Truck & Parts, supplies 49.7j3 E.P. Hardware, supplies 5.84 E.P. Lumber, supplies 47.71 B.J. McConnell, fees 2.50 E.P. Ice & Fuel, fuel 40.80 Western Oxygen Co. supplies 15.50 E.P. Trail, Printing 99.93 C.F. Hix, premium 18.38 Clarence Graves, supplies 38.50 Rowland Sales & Service, service 146.23 Seyb©ld'e Service Station, service 10.61 Conoco Service Station, service 30.34 F.W. Wolpert, service 10.50 Leman Machine Shop, service 4.86 Light & Power Dept., power 186.54 Municipal Steel Corp. supplies 67.08 Noyes & Son, rentals 84.00 Wages & salaries 1,327.69 Water Dept. Operating expenses 1,067.49 Light & Power operating expenses 8,949.39 Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yes" Trustees Dannele, Herzog, McConnell, Poling and Watson. Those voting "No" none. The Clerk informed the Board regarding the problems created during the past few years in attempting to enforce the Occupation License Ordinance with respect to sign painting and sign installations, and ask the Board to define a policy to be followed by the Clerk. Following a detail discussion, Trustee Herzog moved that the Town NOT require a Occupation License from any person or firm eng ed in hanging or painting a sign within the corporate limits. Trustee Dannele seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yes" Trustees Dannele, Herzog, McConnell, Poling and Watson. Those voting "No" none. Mr. Jack Preston, HTrry Tregent and Ernie Cink appeared before the Board and ask that Ordinance No. 133, passed on the 14th day of Dec. 1951, be ammended to limit the maximum capacity of tank trucks delivering flamable liquids, to 1000 gallons or less. The Board discussed the proposal but took no action at this time. The Clerk read a letter to be signed by Mayor Graves and mailed t the Bureau of Reclamation from the Town, recwiting the Town's position regarding the sale of Bureau lands that originally belonged to the Town. The Board approved the letter. Trustee Watson, Chairman of the Light & Power Committee, together with Leon Sweetland, Supt. of Light & Power, reviewed the right-of-way claim of M. Louise Spencer, and ask the Board for an opinion on a settlement. Meeting called to order by Mayor. - Present: Mayor Trustees: Following up the parking restrictions set forth at the last meeting, the Board decided to continue the reserved parking spaces in front of the Doctors offices and to extend the one hour parking on Cleave Ave. to the Morehead locker plant. Trustee Poling reported that the To was the successful bidder for a Kgm rotary snow plow, from the National Park Service, at a price of $ 2,000.00.
