Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the. day of Sept . , A. D. 19 52 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Clarence A. Graves Present: Mayor C1 ence A. Graves Trustees: G.E. Casey, Henry Dannele, Charles L. Herzog, ert J. McConnell, Jess Poling, George H. Watson. Also Present: Lee H. Tallant, Supt. of Works Hatfield Chilson & Robert McCreary, Town Attorneys Verne H. Fanton, Town Clerk. Absent: None. Minutes of the regular meeting scat held on Sept. 8th, read and approved as read. Mr. & Mrs. Chet Law, owners of Lot 1 and 2, Little Prospect Addition, appeared before the Board supporting their application to change the zoning restrictions in order to construct a motel. Following a diecuseion Trustee Watson moved the following: That Lots one and two of Little Prospect Mountain Addition be changed from Zoning District R-1 (Residence District) to R-2 (Multiple Family Residence District) excepting, the southerly 125 feet of said lots abbuting Stanley Circle Drive and excepting the Westerly 75 feet of Lot 2, which lands shall remain in Residenoe District; That said Ordinance shall be prepared at this time and placed on file with the Town Clerk; That, upon presentation to the Board by Mr. & Mrs. Chet Law, of complete plane of the motel and construction is ready to begin immediately, said Ordinance will be passed and adopted. Trustee Dannele seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion was passed by the following vote: Those voting "Yee" and in favor of the motion, Trustees Casey, Dannele, Herzog, Poling and Wateon. Those voting "No" Trustee McConnell. Mr. E.R. Anderson, agent and operator of the Trouthaven property, appeared before the Board and ask that the Town locate the the highway right-of-way along the North and East of the Trouthaven property. Mr. Anderson stated that the owners had no objection to the Town installing a curb in front of the property, and also made official application to install the miniture train that has been operating across the street , on the Trouthaven property. The Board instructed the Clerk to make application for the change in location of the miniture train, to the Town Zoning Board, with the recommendation the Council that it be approved. Mr. Frank Matejka of the Bureau of Reclamation, appeared before the Board and stated that he had been delagated by the Bnaeau to dispose «f all the grounds and buildings that are new a part of the Estee Park Bureau of Reclamation administration and housing area. Mr. Matejka stated that he realized that the Town believed they had a primary interest in the property and aek that the Town study the proposition and inform him of their opinion as to how it should be disposed f. Mr. Matejka also stated that he would contact all other agencies and organizations that were interested, before making a final plan of disposition. The Clerk reported that part of the Town officials had met with Mr. Richard T. Davis, and talked about the possibility of the Town acquiring a tract of land in Huenna Vista Terrace, adjoining Fall River, for public parking purposes. The Board discussed the proposal in detail with the Town Attorneys, declared they were definitly interested in acquiring the property, and instructed the Town Attorney to out -line a proposed method of acquiring the property. Meeting called to order by Mayor_ Present: Mayor Trustees: The Clerk asked the Board to set up a definite policy for the Town to follow for the purchase of gasoline and fuel oil. The Board stated that they should have definite information en hew the gas tax refunds to the Town from the State, were computed before making a decision. The Clerk was instructed to contact the State highway department for recommendations and approval of the installations of traffic signals. Trustee McConnell reported on the need of closer co-ordination between the Fire and Police Departments. There being no further business to come beofre the meeting, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn. Mayor Attest:
