Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the........ day of June , A. D. 19 52 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Clarence A. Graves Present: Mayor Clarence Graves Trustees: G.E. Casey, Henry Dannels, Chas. Herzog, Bert McConnell, and George Watson. Also Present: Lee H. Tallant, Supt. of Works Verne H. Fanton, Town Clerk Absent: Trustee Jess Poling. Minutes of the regular meeting held on June 9, read and approved as read. Mr. Adderson, representing the Socony-Vacuum 011 Company appeared before the Board supporting a written application for a building permit for a service station to be built on a plot of ground where the Staney Hotel road intersects Elkhorn Ave. After discussing de- tails, Mr. Anderson telephoned Denver, then reported the following statements to the Board: The Company will aecepta the Town's loca- tion of the street line of Elkhorn Ave} the large storage tanks to be located North of Bleck Canyon creek and outside the corporate limits will be burried, and if this is not possible they will be landscaped so that they are not viaable from the street; the Town street light will be moved a distance of about 12 feet at the expense of the Company, and the Company will meet with the Street and Alley Committee of the Town and cooperate in working out an agreement for parking apace, to compensate for the entire curb -cut granted the Company along Elkhorn Ave. With this understanding Trustee Casey moved that the permit be granted. Trustee Dannele seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yes" Trustees Casey, Dannele, Herzog, McConnell, Watson. Those voting "No" None. Trustee Watson reported on the meeting of the Light & Power Dommittee Lee Tallant reported on the water system's distribution problems in the Sotith East part of Town. Trustee Herzog reported on the. operations of the Country Club. Trustee McConnell reported that he had inspected the property in back of Coolidge's Cafe three times and found it in verg good condition. The Board discussed the fact that water from Tiller's cafe was run- ning onto other property and into the street, also that grease from the exhaust fan at the Coffee Bar was being blown onto the public sidewalk. Both matters were referred to the Street & Alley Committee. There being no further business to come before the meeting, it was regularly moved seconded and carried that the meetin,_' Journ. Attest:
