Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the 9th day of July , A. D. 19..51 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Ronald C . Brodie Present: Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Trustees: G.E. Casey, Chas. L. Herzog, Merl Morehead, Jess Poling, Geo. H. Watson. Also Present: Verne H. Fanton, Town Clerk Absent: Trustee C.A. Graves Minutes of the regular meeting held on June 25th, read and approved as read. Trustee Poling moved that the following bills be allowed and paid, and that the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for same; Trustee Casey seconded the motion: E.P. Ice & Fuel, supplies 106.40 Water Dept. operating expenses 2,387.46 Wages & Salaries 2,358.65 Light & Power, operating expenses 10,927.01 Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those ,voting "Yee" Trustees Casey, Herzog, Morehead, Poling and Watson. The Clerk reported to the Board that in accordance with the discussion held at the last meeting, he had contacte+ Mrs. Hildred Griffith and Mr. Fred Hoener, in an effort to ammend the existing water tap fee contract. Mrs. Griffith had agreed to set up a new rate, classi— fied as a "Motel Rate", the tap fee to be $ 50.00 per unit. Mr. Hoener refused to accept this proposed rate, and no further action had been taken. Mr. Jack Whitt appeared before the Boar asking approval to maintain a temporary counter outside his place of business. The Clerk explained that Mr. Whitt had made inquiry concerning the counter before it was erected, that by order of the Building Committee of the Council, the Clerk informed Mr. Whitt that this would be invidlation of Town Ordinance and could not be permitted, whereupon Mr. Whitt proceed to erect the counter. Following the discussion the Clerk was instructed to request the counter be removed. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the day of , A. D. 19 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Present: Mayor Trustees: Mr. Bob Baldwin appeared before the Board requesting further action by the Town in order to eliminate notes and disorderly people from congreating along 'West Riverside Drive at late hours oon Saturday nite. Mayor Brodie stated that the Police Chief would increase the effeciency of the patrol of the area. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tedder appeared before the Board asking information relative to getting light and power service to their residence. The Board euggeseted that they make application by established method in order that a survey could be made for the extension. Chief Wm. E. Banks appeared before the Board and displayed the 'new finger printing kit purchased b- the Police Department. A letter from the Chamber of Commerce was presented to the Board suggesting better traffic regulation at the Auditorium after Sunday morning church services. Chief Banks stated that an officer would be detailed to take care of the rush period. Trustee Watson reported on the monthly meeting of the Light and Power Committee meeting. There being no further business to come beofre the meeting, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn. Attest: Town Clerk Mayor
