Minutes of a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Larimer

Meeting called to order by Mayor Ronald C. Brodie
Present: Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Trustees: G.E. Cagey, C.A. Graves
Chas. L. Herzog, Merl Morehead., Geo. H. Watson.
Also present: Lee H. Tallant, Supt. of Wprks
Verne H. Fanton, Town Clerk
Absent: Trustee M.J. Poling.
Minutes of the regular meeting held on May 28, read and approved
as read.
Trustee Morehead moved that the following bills be allowed and paid,
that the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for same: Trustee
Herzog seconded the motion:

Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those
voting "Yes" Trustees Casey, Graves, Her.,og, Morehead and Watson.
Those voting "No" none.
To complete the action of the last regular meeting, Trustee Watson
moved that the Police Department be authorized to purchase a finger-
printing set at an estimated cost of $ 55.00. Trustee Morehead
seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion carried by the follow-
ing vote: Those voting "Yee" Trustees Casey, Graves, Herzog, Morehead
and Watson. Those voting "No" none.
Mr. E.L. Hoyt, representing the Board of the Community Church, appeared
before the meeting, protesting the conjestion of traffic along Cleave
Ave. caused by parking of trucks. The Board ordered one hour parking
signs erected along Cleave ave. and parking limits enforced, and
stated that this should improve the situation.
A letters fom Mr. Jahn Ramey was read to the Board, suggeeting the
passage of an4Ordinance requiring radio noise suppersors to be in-
stalled on all signs and motors within the business area.

Present: Mayor Trustees:
The Board stated that they would investigate the possibilities of
such an Ordinance.
The Clerk informed the Board that the Town was badly in need of
additional dining room tables at the Country Club. The Board auth-
orized the Clerk to write the American Legion Club and ask to
borrow six tables for the summer season.
Following an explanation by the Clerk of new Federal and State
legislation, enableing Town employees to participate in the Federal
Social Security Program, Trustee Casey introduce the following
entitled Ordinance, and moved that it be passed and adopted:
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE COVERAGE OF EMPLOYEES
AND OFFICERS OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLO 0,
UNDER THE OLD AGE AND SURVIVORS INSURANCE PROVISIONS
OF TITLE II OF THE FEDERAL SOCIAL SECURITY ACT, AS
AMEND .
The Ordinance Was then read in full. Trustee Watson seconded the
motion. Upon roll call said motion carried and said Ordinance
passeby the following vote: Those voting "Yes" Trustees, Casey,
Graves, Herzog, Morehead, and Watson. Those voting "No" none.
Whereupon Mayor Brodie Dec]. ed said Ordir: ce adopted, ordered
it numbered 130, and published accoriding to law.
There being no further business to come beofre the meeting, it was
regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn.
