Minutes of a regla,l$r meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Larimer 14th County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the day of May , A. D. 19 _51 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Present: Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Trustees: G.E. Casey, Chas. Herzog, Jese Poling and Geo. H. Watson. Also Present: Lee H. Tallant, Supt. of Works Verne H. Fenton, Town Clerk Absent: Trustees, Clarence Graves, Merl Morehead. Minutes of the regular meeting held on April 23, read and approved. Trustee Herzog moved that the following bills be allowed and paid, and that the Clerk be atthorized to draw warrants for same: Trustee Casey, seconded the motion: Estes Park Lumber Co., supplies 390.44 Giant Manufacturing Co. supplies 99.00 C.F. Hix, Agent, premium 10.00 Link Radio Corp. supplies 143.51 Stoneman Cheverolet Co. supplies 1.00 H.R. Teller, services 18.00 Dumont Sales Co. supplies 75.37 Graves Gas Co. supplies . 201.95 Rowland Sales & Service, supplies 72.42 John L. Bigger, supplies 2.33 Liberty Truck & Parts, supplies 96.20 Estes Park Signs, supplies 53.00 Wilkinson Lumber Co. supplies 65.00 Conoco Service Station, service 69.08 The Texas Co. supplies 63.48 Seybold Service Station, service 1.95 Continental Oil Company, supplies 286.33 Mine & Smelter Supply, supplies 367.99 Hendrie & Bolthoff, supplies 181.27 E.P. Plumbers, services 54.09 Jeee Poling Electric, supplies 807.48 Wages & Salaries, 1886.67 Water Dept. operating expenses 1,426.67 Light & Power, operating expenses 9,808.22 Upon roll cell said motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yes" Trustees Casey, Herzog, Poling and Watson. Those voting "No" none. The Clerk reported to the Board that it was the Town Attorney's opinion That the Town Board could grant permission for the use of Stanley Park for most any type of lawful entertainment and recreation, and for what remuneration the Board saw fit to charge, and that each application should be considered on its own merits. The Board then discussed the application of Mr. Karonis and Mr. Thompson to use the Park for auto races. Trustee Watson moved that the matter be tabled until the next meeting. Trustee Casey seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yes" Trustees Casey, Herzog, Poling and Watson. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the. day of A. D. 1.9 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor_ Pmsent Mayor Trustees: Mayor Brodie read a lett r from the Estes Park Womens Club, asking the Town to contribute 100.00 to the Library annual budget. The Board approved the contribution. The Clerk presented the annual audit of the Light & Power Dept. as submitted by Frank M. Holmes, C.P.A. of Denver. After reading and discussing the report Trustee Casey moved that it be accepted. Trustee Herzog seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yes" Trustees Casey, Herzog, Poling and Watson. "No" none. The Committee of Trustees Watson and Herzog, reported to the Board on employees wages, and recommended that hourly employees receive a five cent per -hour increase, and monthly employees a 3% increase. Following a discussion Trustee)! Watson so.moved. Trustee Casey seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion carried by the - following vote: Those voting "Yes" Trustees Caaey, Herzog, Poling and Watson. "No" None. Following a discussion, the Clerk was instructed to investigate the possibility of amending Ordinance No. 13, to prohibit the use of air guns, anti to license persons useing dynamite.
