Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of EstesParkonthe. 23 April day of , A. D. 19 51 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Ronald C/ Brodie Present: Mayor Ronald. C. Brodie Trustees: G.E. Casey, C.A. O•raves Chas. Herzog, Jess Poling, George Watson. Also Present: Lee H. Tallant, Supt. of Works Verne H. Fanton, Town Clerk Absent: Trustee Merl Morehead. Minutes of the regular meeting held on April 9, read and approved as corrected. Mr. George Karonis and Mr. Lloyd Thompson of Estee Park, appeared before the Board proposing to operate "Stock Car" races this summer at Stanley Park, on Suddays, and pay the Town 20% of the gross receipts. Following a detail discussion, a declsion was postponed in order for the Clerk to investigate insurance and contact the Town Attorney. An application to install two gasoline storage tanks and two service pumps, at the Service station, located on Lot 28, Block 10, from Mr. Ery Klieneinder, was presented by the Clerk. Following the report of the Clerk and Mr. Tallant, the application was approved. Mayor Brodie read a letter from Mr. Sweetland, Supt. of Light & Power, together with figures, asking the Council's consideration for wage increases for employees. The Board discussed all phases of the pro- posal. Mayor Brodie appointed Trustees Watson and Herzog to study the detail of all Town employees wages and report to the Board. Trustee Graves reported on accompl*shiments to date at the golf course and country club property, together with plans for the seasons operations. The Light & Power committee recommended that the Board.permit the Light & Power Department to install a switching station at the 3outh East corner of Lot 6, Block 4, with the use of a plot of ground 15' X 25'. Trustee Watson Moved that permiseion be granted. Trustee Casey seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yes" Trustees Casey, Graves, Herzog, Poling and. Watson. Those voting "No" none. There being no further business to come before the meeting, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn. Mayor Attest:
