Minutes of a regular
meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Larimer
County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the. 26:th
day of ______________ _ -A. D. 19_51 at regular meeting hour.
Meeting called to order by Mayor Ronald C. Brodie

Minutes of the regular meeting held on March 12, read and approved
as read.
A model Ordinance relating to Civilian Defense was presented by
Mayor Brodie, and turned to the Town Attorney for consideration.
Following several months of study and survey, Trustee Casey introduced
the following entitled Ordinance and moved that it be passed:
AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE THE USE OF WATER FROM THE
WATER WORKS SYSTEM OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,
ESTABLISH RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE USE
OF WATER, ESTABLISHING RATES THEREFOR, CREATING A
WATER DEPARTMENT AND SUPERINTENDENT THEREOF, AND
PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF SAID ORDINANCE.
Trustee Morehead seconded the motion. The question being upon
the passing and adopting of said Ordinance, the roll was called with
the following result: Those voting "Yes" and in favor of the Ord-
inance, Trustees Casey, Graves, Herzog, Morehead, Poling and Watson.
Those voteing "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Brodie declared said Ord-
inance duly passed and adopted, ordered it numbered 129 and publish-
ed according to law.
The application of Mr. G.A. Kennedy of Loveland, to collect all
garbage fvom commercial establishments for the 1951 season, for
a fee of $ 150.00, was considered by the Board. Mr. K-ennedy's
services during 1950 being satisfactory, the Clerk was instructed
to enter into such an agreement.
The Clerk presented the application of Mrs. Claire Noyes, for an
extension of time, to April 15, 1951, in order to remove her building
from Town Property. The request was granted by the Board.
The Board declared that no reply had been received from the order
served on Mr. Herbert Ostrander to remove his buildings from Town
property and that no action had been taken by Mr. Ostrander to remove
them. The Board instructed the Town Attorney to take the necessary
action is xs on April 2, 1951, to have the buildings removed.
Trustee Graves led a general discussion on plans of operation and
expenditures for the country club and golf course, with remarks and
opinions given by the Town Attorney. The Board approved the committees
action and plans.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, it wax
regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn.
