Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the. 9th day of October A. D. 19 50 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Pro T em: C.A. Graves Present: Mayor Trustees: G.E. Cagey, C.A. Graves, Chas. Herzog, Merl Morehead, Jess Poling. Also Present: Lee H. Tallant, Supt. of Works Verne H. Fanton, Town Clerk Absent: Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Trustee Geo. H. Watson. Minutes of the regular meeting held on September 25, read and approved as read. Trustee Cagey moved that the following bills that the Clerk be instructed to draw warrant Firestone Stores, supplies E.P. Hardware, supplies Wm. Brown, services Scientific Supply Co., euppliee Monahan Motor Co. supplies Light & Power Dept. service E.P. Garage, services Silver Spruce Pharmacy, supplies E.P. Trail, supplies C.A. Graves, supplies Chilson & McCreary, services Conoco Service Station, services E.P. Electric, service Western Oxygen Co. supplies Continental Oil Co. euppliee E.P. Plumbers, euppliee E.P. Lumber, euppliee E.P. Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yee" Trustees Cagey, Graves, Gerzog, Morehead and Poling. Those voting "No" None. The proposal made at the last meeting by Paul Van Horn, to employ a Town Engineer, was discussed by the Board with the decision that the Town could not financirtlly undertake such a program at this time. The Clerk presented the assessed valuation of the Town for 1950 as certified by the County Assessor. The Board discussed the proposed operations of the Town for the coming year and decided it would be necessary to increase the mill levy by one-half mill, in order to meet increaeeing demands and costs. Trustee Poling introduced the following Resolution and moved that it be adopted. R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, it is the duty of the Board of Trustees of The Town of Estee Park, Colorado, to make the annual levy to pay the expeneee of the Town Government for the fiscal year beginning Januaryl, 1951; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that there is hereby levied on all the taxable property within the corporate limits for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1951 and ending December 31, 1951 (the same being based on the assessed valuation made in the year 1950 and to be collected in the year 1951) a total levy for all purposes of Twenty Mille (20) on each dollar of assessed valuation of said pro- perty. Trustee Herzog seconded the motion. aCotiin of &feg Park, Larimer County, Colorado, , 19 Minutes of a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Larimer County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the day of , A. D. 19 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Present: Mayor Trustees: Upon roll call said motion carried and said Resolution duly adopted by the following vote: Those voting "Yee" Trustees Casey, Graves, Herzog, Morehead and Poling. Those voting "No" none. At the request of the Larimer County surveyor, Trustee Casey introduced the following Resolution and moved that it be adopted: RES OLUTI 0 N WHEREAS, there is now, and has been for a long period of years, an iron pipe marker set in concrete, located at the common point of the North side of Elkhorn Avenue and the corporate limit line of the Town on the West, AND WHEREAS, it is agreed by at least three licensed surveyors that this marker is the true and correct South West corner of Block Nine of the Town of Estes Park, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARR, COLORADO, that the above described marker be declared the correct and official South West corner of Block Nine of The Town of Estee Park. Trustee Morehead seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Thoee voting "Yee" Trustees Casey, Graves, Herzog, Morehead, and Poling. Those voting "No" none.
