Thls meeting called by Mayor Brodie for the purpose of considering the final plans and specifications for the construction of a building by and for the Estes Park Chamber of Commerce. Michael Mardin pre- sented the plans of the proposed building, with the explanation that since only twenty-five foot frontage had been allocated by the Town for the building, that it would be necessary to front the building to the East instead of the main street. The Board objected to this plan in that it would not be practical or servicable, and would not present a correct appearance. Whereupon Trustee Herzog Moved that thirty feet frontage be approved for the building, that the front of the proposed building be in line with the East wing of the Town Hall, and that it be six foot distant from the Town Hall. Trustee Poling seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yes" Trustees Casey, Graves, Morehead, Herzog and Poling. Those voting "No" None. Mrs. Ora Carr of the Estes Park Library appeared before the Board and voiced objection the the proposed Chamber of Commerce build.ing being located next to the Library because of the possibility of the three buildings being conjested. The Board considered the objection, but took no action oni, it. The Board then approved the plans and specifications, as correoted, and instructed. Mr. Mardin to proceed in accordance with the written Mechanics of Proceedure. Attest: Mayor
