D. 19..59. at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor_ Pro Tem, Clarence Graves Present: MayorPrO Tem, C.A. GravesTrustees:G.E, Casey, Clarence Graves, S.M. Hurd, Merl Morehead, Glen Swearingen & Geo. H. Watson. Also Present: Lee H. Tallant, 3upt. Of Works Verne H. Fenton, Town Clerk. Absent: Mayor Ronald C. Brodie. Minutes of the regular meeting held on March 13, read and approved. The Clerk preoented correspondence from the Colorado Municipal League, asking the Town to subscribe to a special fund for the purpose of financing a program to secure better Town streets and more funds allocated to Towns, at a fee of 4 30.00. The Clerk was instructed to subscribe to the program. The Clerk reported that he had met with the State Public Utilities Commission on March 24th, together with Town Attorney Hatfield Chilean, and Town Auditor, Frank M. Holmes. The Commission gave preliminary approval for a new extension policy for the Town Light and. Power Dept. The policy will then be returned for the approval of the Council in Ordinance form. Mr. Tallant reported that he and the Clerk had net with the trust officers of The International Trust Company in Denver, regarding water service to Stanley Heights A. The Clerk reported that the Town Attorney would draw a resolution Betting forth the feats in the case and present it to the Board. Trustee Watson. reported to the Board on the meeting and action of the light (ft power committee. Lee Tallant reported on the progress to date on rebuilding the golf course, The Board decided the course would have to be cloned this coming season in order for the improvements to be made, and authorized the purchase of a loader to be installed on the Ford tractor, and the necessary water pipe for the golf course. Trustee Watson. introduced the following Resolution and moved that it be adopted. R E S O L U T I 0 N WHEREAS, by the Statutes of the State of Colorado, the 4th day of April, 1950 is fixed ae the time for the election of the Mayor and six Trustees of the Town of Estes Park; AND WHEREAS, it is the duly of the Board of Trustees to pro- vide for holding such election and appointing the Judges to con- duct it; AND WHEREAS, the time for the filing of nominations with the Town Clerk and Recorder has expired; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT AN ELECTION .FOR THE PUR POSE of electing a Mayor and six Trustees shall be held on Tuesday the 4th day of April, 1950; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the polling place shall be the Town Hall located within the Town of Estes Park, that the polls shall be open from seven o'clock A.M. until seven o'clock P.M. on said election day: that Mrs. McKnight, Mrs. .Hazel Baldwin, Mr. Chas. A.
