Meeting held in the Town Hallin said Town of Estes Park on the llth day of April , A. D. 19 49 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Present: Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Trustees: C.A. Graves, S.M. Hurd, Merl Morehead, Glen Swearingen and George H. Watson. Also Present: Lee H. Tallant, Supt. of Works Verne H. Fanton, Town Clerk. Absent: Trustee G.E. Casey. Minutes of the regular meeting held on March 28th and the Special meeting held on April 5th, read and approved as read. Trustee Graves moved that the following bills be allowed and paid, and that the Clerk be instructed to draw warrants for same: Trustee Swearingen seconded the motion: R.H. Haverfield, supplies $ 15.00 Telephone Co., service 7.75 E.P. Plumbers, services 9.63 Hendrie & Bolthoff, supplies 26.49 Central Supply Co. supplies 4.80 C.F. Hix, Agent, premium 10.00 Executone Co., supplies 5.50 Chileon & McCreary, services 27.85 E.P. Hardware, supplies 12.20 Light & Power Dept. power 181.63 Silver Spruce Pharmacy, supplies 15.07 E.P. Ice & Fuel, fuel 68.75 U.S. Welding Works, supplies 24.17 Ted Finger Motor, services 34.90 M.D. Barnett Co., supplies 31.90 E.P. Lumber Co., supplies 21.41 E.P. Train, printing 19.67 E.P. Garage, services 22.46 Continental Oil Co. supplies 256.22 Water Dept. operating, 912.13 Light & Power Operating, 7,951.88 Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yes" Trustees Graves, Hurd, Morehead, Swearingen and Watson. Those voting "No" None. Mr. E.V. Shugart appeared before the Board in the interest of recrea- tion development on Lake Estes. Mr. Shugart offered constructive suggestions and stated that he was interested in bidding on the concession rights. Mayor Brodie stated that the Board had no direct interest in the concession rights, but thanked Mr. Shugart for his suggestions and information. Mr. Harrison of the Miller parking meter company appeared before the Board asking if the Board had made a decision on the installation of parking meters. Mr. Harrison was insformedthat he would be notified when a deceeion was made. Following a discussion regarding garbage removal from commercial es- tablishments for the coming season, Trustee Watson moved that Mr. Ed Kirkpatrick of Longmont be given a contract for 1949. Trustee Morehead seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yee" Trustees Graves, Hurd, Morehead, Swearingen and Watson. Those voting "No", none. The Clerk presented two purchase requisitions from Supt. Cole of the Light & Power Dept. amounting to about $ 650.00, together with a request to employ an additional meter reader on May lst, Approval was granted. 61J a t Larimer County, Colorado,. 19 Minutes of a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Lorimer County, Colorado. Meeting held in. the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on day — day of A. D. 19. at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Present: Mayor Trustees: Mr. Lee Tenant, Supt of Works, requeated approval to start con- struction on enlarging water mains from Stanley Circle East to the So. 3t. Vrain Highway at an estimated cost of about $ 3,000.00 for labotand equipment. The Water Department not having sufficient funds on hand to cover this expenditure, the Board approved,the project and authorized the Clerk to register the necessary warrants at The Estes Park Bank, to complete the installation. Trustee Morehead stated that in his opinion a decesion should be made by the 'c'oard on the question of parking meter installations and made a motion that the Town install parking meters. Trustee Watson .7e-oraed the Motion. The vote being on the motion that the Town proceed to install parking meters, the roll was called with the following result: Those voting in favor of the motion, Trustees Morehead and Watson. Those voting against the Motion and voting "No", Trustees Graves, Hurd and. Swearingen. Whereupon Mayor Brodie'de- clared said motion lest. There being no further business to come before the meeting, it Was regularly moved, secended and carried that thamteting .djourn. Attest: To Clerk Mayor
