D. 19 49 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Present: Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Trustees: G.E. Casey, Clarence Graves, S.M.. Hurd, George H. Watson. Also Present: Lee H. Tallant, Supt. of Works Verne H. Fanton, Town Clerk Absent: Trustees, Merl Morehead and Glen Swearingen Minutes of the regular meeting held on November 28th, read and approved as read. Trustee Casey moved that the following bills be allowed and paid, and that the Clerk be instructed to draw warrants for s= e: Trustee Graves seconded the motion: Rocky Mountain Motors, supplies Continental 011 Co., supplies Monahan Motor Co., supplies E.P. Trail, Printing The Moore Store, euppliee S.M. Hurd, services Ted Finger Motor, repairs Conoco Service Station, service Silver Spruce Pharmacy, supplies Light & Power Dept. service Acme Sanitary Supply, supplies Western Oxygen Co. supplies Clarence Graves, supplies E.P. Hardware, supplies Scientific Supply, supplies E.P. Lumber, supplies E.P. Ice & Fuel, fuel The Texas Company, supplies Telephone Co., service Wages & Salaries, Water Dept. Operating expenses Light & Power Dept. operating, $ 3.18 61.67 5.72 33.95 1.12 20.00 20.10 10.02 5.52 189.78 13.25 14.92 2.01 4.68 19.00 15.82 58.85 195.95 11.00 1,146.68 847.34 6,853.96 Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yee" Trustees, Casey, Graves, Hurd and Watson. Those voting "No" none. The Clerk presented the Board with financial figures of the operations of the Light & Power Dept; Water Department and General Fund for the years 1948 and 1949, together with a proposed budget for 1950. After detail discussion and after certain changes and corrections were made in the proposed budget, Trustee Watson introduced the following entitled Ordinance and moved that it be passed and adopted: ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1950 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1950 Trustee Casey seconded the Ordinance motion. Said Ordinance was then read in full. The vote being taken, said motion passed by the follow- ing vote: Those voting "Yes" Trustees Casey, Graves, Hurd and Watson. Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Brodie declared said Ord- inance passed and adopted, ordered it numbered 125, and published according to law.
