Also Preeent: Lee Tallant, Supt. of Works aurice Cole, Supt. of Power Verne H. Fenton, Town Clerk Abeentt Trustee G.E. Casey Minutes of the regular meeting held. on Sept- 12th, read. and approved as read. Mayor Brodie announced that the School District had asked to use the portable log building belonging to the Town, now being used by the Chamber of Commerce at the East end o Elkhotn Ave. The Board grant- ed the eguest providing the school use the builfttng on a temporary b els. The Clerk presented an application for a restaurant liquor license et the El Rancho, signed by James. P. Cossett, a new owner of the business. Following a discussion Trustee Watson moved that the application be approved. Trustee Morehead seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion. corried by the following vote: Those voting "Yes" TrusteesGraves, Hurd, Morehead, 3wearingel and Watson. Those voting "NO" None. The Clerk presented a, request from S. Lucille Hatleetad, a property owner in Little Prospect Addition, through her attorney, Mr. Herman Seaman of Loveland, asking the Town to quit -claim, release and. re- linquish. all of its right, title and interest to her property as to rights of way or easements for utility purposes. .In diacuseing the proposal the Board declared that all of the property in this subdivision was subject to the same teeervations and had beensince it was incorporated within the Town limits; that no other property owner had ever made such a request; that the Town had not in the past nor would it in the future abuse it* right of way priviledges; that the Town. does not contemplate any further utilities on this property at this time; and that if the request were granted, every other property' owner in. Little Prospect Mountain. Addition would be entitled to the same consideration, whichwould nuili y the purpose of the reservations. Therefor Trustee Graves moved.. that the re-. guest be denied. Trustee Hurd seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those voting' "Yes" Trustees Graves, Hurd, Morehead, Swearingen and Watson. Those vote- ing "N ", None® Whereupon Mayor Brodie declared. saicl request denied. Mayor Brodie presented a petition received. by him, asking that Police Office James 00Brien be retained in. his present position. Trustee Hurd cited. instances and explatned the reaoans why he was of the opinion the OwBrien should be dismissed. After a discussion Mayor Brodie called for a vote. Trustee Hurd Moved that James 01Brien be dismissed from Town. employe. Trustee Graves seconded the motion. Upon roll call saidmotion failed to pass by the following vote: Those voting "Yes" and in. favor of dismissal, Trustees, Graves and aft. Those voting "No" and. not in. favor of dismissal, Trustees Morehead., Swearingen and. Watson. The Board proceed to dis uss further the action taken at the :Last meeting regarding a proposed light & pcwer extension below Glen Haven and declared that the following stipulations should apply to the proposal.: 0 Lorimer County, Colorado, , 19 Minutes of a __________________ — -meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Lorimer County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the day of -- A, D. 19 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Present: Mayor Trustees: That the primary line would follow the present road and that the first 25 customers located within 300 feet of this line would be served under a guaranty deposit of 286.00. That service would be available by July 15, 1950, provided a minimum of 17 deposits were made by June 1, 1950. That any future applicants located more than 300 feet from this primary line, should pay the ' 286.00 plus hie individual deposit requirements. There being no further business to come before the Board, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn. Mayor Attest: „
