Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on ........ day of June , A. D. 19 49 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Present: Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Trustees: G.E. Casey, Clarence Graves, S.M. Hurd, Merl Morehead, Glen Swearingen, Geo. H. Watson. Also Present: Maurice Cole, Supt. of Power Verne H. Fanton, Town Clerk Minutes of the regular meeting held on June 13, read and approved as read. In response to the offer made by the Board of Trustees to The Estee Park Sanitation District to lease a plot of ground near the disposal plant, the Clerk read a letter from the Sanitation District stateing that it would not be in the best interests of the District to lease this plot of ground to the Town, but that the District would be will- ing to purchase, from the Town, a plot of ground East of the present disposal plant, for plant expansion. No action was taken on the proposal at this time. The Clerk informed the Board that he had contacted R.W. Brand, Town milk inspector, and that his fees for milk inspection for this year would be $ 400.00. The Hoard declared that due to new State Health Laws, it would not be necessary to employ Dr. Brand this year. As a result of previous Board action, Trustee Graves introduced the following entitled Ordinance and moved that it be passed and adopted: AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE CONSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF CURBING, AND THE CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE OF DRIVEWAYS OR ENTRANCES FROM THE STREETS TO PRIVATE PROPERTY AND REGULATING THE CONSTRUCTION AND USE THEREOF AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION HEREOF. Trustee Swearingen seconded the motion. The Ordinance was then read in full. The motion being upon the passing and adopting of the Ordinance, the roll was called with the following result: Those voting "Yea" and in favor, Trustees Casey, Graves, Hurd, Morehead, Swearingen and Watson. Those voting "No", none. Whereupon Mayor Brodie declared said Ordinance duly passed and adopted, ordered it numbered 123, and published according to law. Trustee Morehead introduced the following entitled Ordinance and moved that it be passed and adopted; AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO STREETS, ALLEYS AND SIDEWALKS, THE OBSTRUCTION THEREOF OR THE EXCAVATION THEREOF, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR A VIOLATION HEREOF. Trustee Watson seconded the motion. The Ordinance was then read in full. The motion being upon the passing e.nd adopting of the Ordinance the roll was called with the following result: Those voting "Yes" and in favor, trustees Casey, Graves, Hurd, Morehead, Swearingen and Watson. Those voting "No", none. Whereupon Mayor Brodie declared said Ordinance duly passed and adopted, ordered it numbered 124, and published according to law. Following a short discussion on streets and traffic, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn. Attest: --- Mayor Town Clerk
