Meeting called to order by Mayor Ronald C . Brodie
Present: Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Trustees: Clarence Graves, B.M. Hurd,
Merl Morehead, Glen Swearingen and George H. Watson.
Also Present: Lee H. Tallant, Supt. of Wnr1:a
Maurice Cole, Supt. of Power
Verne H. Fanton, Town Clerk
Absent: Trustee G.E. Casey
Minutes of the regular meeting held on November 8, read and
approved as read.
The Clerk presented the following Liquor License applications
for renewal, whereupon Trustee Hurd moved that they be approved.
Trustee Watson seconded the motion:
Everett Anderson, Retail. Liquor Store
Leo F. Tighe, Liquor licensed Drug Store
F.E. Rogers & Karl Q. Anderson, Retail Liquor. Store
Finigan Drug Co., Liquor Licenses Drug Store
Somine Henery, (Chez Jay), Restaurant Liquor License
American Legion Club, Club License
Dark Horse Inn, Gale H. Gillan, Restaurant Liquor
Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those
voting "Yes" Trustees Graves, Hurd, Morehead, Swearingen and
Watson. Those voting "No", none.
A letter from Charles Waters of Denver was read to the Board,.
asking for commercial operations at the air -strip. The Board
declared that no action would be taken till next spring, on
airport operations.
A letter from Ray H. Bradshaw, Estes Park, was read to the Board,
asking for future consideration for a license to aonduct dog
racing. The.. application was ordered filed uytil State laws were
definite and final.
The Clerk informed the Board that the Zoning Board were preparing
to zone Al Fresco Place and Mount View Park for a Residence Class
area.
Following the information presented by Lee H. Tallant, Trustee
Graves moved that Lee Tallant be authorized to have the four tires
on the A.W. Grader, re -capped. Trustee Morehead seconded the motion.
Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those
voting "Yes" Trustees Graves, Hurd, Morehead Swearingen and Watson.
Those voting "No", none.
The Board discussed several improvements in Town streets, alleys
and bridges that should be investigated and taken up in the future.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, it was
regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn.
