Meeting held in the Town Hallin said Town of Estes Park on the 26th day of !f_0.11uar-y___________ , A. D. 19_4a. at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Present: Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Trustees: Clarence Graves, S.M. Hurd, Merl Morehead and Glen Swearingen. Also Present: Lee H. Tallant , Supt. of Works Maurice Cole, Supt. of Power Verne H. Fanton, Town Clerk Absent: Trustees G.E. Caney and George H. Watson Minutes of the regular meeting held on January 12th, read and approved as read. Mr. Norman St of Longmont appeared before the Board, asking for an exclusive contract for the collection of gar and trash, and agreeing to furnish a new d ep site at his expense. After a detail disusecion the Board informed Mr. Stamp that they would consider the proposal and inform him in the near future. While discussing the problem created by trash blowing from trucks on the way to the city d p, the Clerk was instructed to request Mr. Cole, Mr. Parker :.d the Bureau of Recl : ation to cover their trucks while hauling trash and g-°bage. In discussing the proposed Lake Estee, the Clerk was instructed to investigate the plans of the State Planning Coy+I+ission regard- ing Lake Estee. The Clerk reported on developments to date in the suit pending in District Court, Magoffin vs Miley and McBride, in whioh the Town is a party together with the plaintiff. Water Superintendent, Lee H. Tallant, presented a plan to extend the water mains a distantance of 700 feet East of the Y.M.C.A. junction, and recomended that it be approved. Trustee Hurd moved that the extension be approved. Trustee Morehead seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote; those voting "Yes", trustees Graves, Hurd, Morehead and Swearin- gen. Those voting "No", None. There being no further business to come before the meeting, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn. Mayor Attest:
