A. D. 19. 7, at re ular Meeting called to order by Mayor, Ronald C., Brodie Present: Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Trustees: G.E. Casey, B.M. Hurd, Paul J. Monahan, Merl Morehead and George H. Watson. Also Present: Maurice Cole, Supt. of Power Verne H. Fanton, Town Clerk Absent: Trustee, C.A. Graves Minutes of the regular meeting held on May 12, read and approved as read. Mies Lavender, of Denver, appeared before the Board seeking a license to operate as a hand writing alalyzer, location to be on Elkhorn Ave, during the day and at Riverside Amusement Park at night. After discussing the application the Board refused permission to operate' on Elkhorn Avenue, due to the temporary nature of the proposed location, but granted permission to operate within the established business of Riverside Amusement Park. Mr. S.S. Magoffin appeared beofre the Board, asking that the Town take aotion to have the building removed from Manford Avenue, in order that water lines and other improvements may be completed on Stanley Park. Mr. Magoffin submitted a letter to the Board to this effect. Following a discussion on winter sports in the area, Mayor Brodie appointed a committee of George Peck, Jr., John W. Brown and E.E. Altick, in the interests of promoting winter sports. Proposed Town zoning was brought to the attention of the Board and referred to Trustees Watson and Casey. As an interpretation of the Town Trailer Ordinanoe, the Board de- clared that a trailer with the wheels removed, connected with water and sewage, was not considered a trailer. Trustee S.M. Hurd was authorized by the Board to install 2-way radio in the police car. Maurice Cole presented a map, submitted by the Union Rural Electrio Association of Brighton, showing their proposed construction within the Estee Park Area. Trustee Casey moved that Mayor Brodie be in- structed to notify the Association that the proposal was not prao- tioal and was unnecessary, since ten miles of the proposed line is now served by the Town and that the Town intended to start construc- tion to the Allen's Park area within the year. Trustee Morehead seconded the motion. Upon roll oall said motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yee" trustees Casey, Hurd, Monahan Morehead and Watson. Those voting ANo", Non.. An application' to install a foot bridge across Fall River was made to the Board by George Davis, through the Clerk. The Board, being of the opinion that it would not be a public convenience, denied the request. There being no further business to come before the Board, it was reg- ularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn.
