Brodie__._.._ 8th Present: MayorRonald Co 'Brodie Trustees: G.E. Casey, Clarence Graves B.M. Hurd, Merl Morehead and George H. Watson. Also Present: Verne H. Fenton, Town Clerk Lee H. Tall l t, Supt. of Work Maurice Cole, Supt. of Power. Absent: Trustee Paul.. J. MonahF�. Minutes of the regular meeting held on August 25th read and approved as read. Trustee Watson moved that the following bills be allowed and. paid, and that the Clerk be inatructedto draw warrants for same: Trustee Morehead seconded the motion: General Fund: Light & Power Dept., power 159.58 Conoco Service Station, service 5.90 Hospital Specialty Co,pany, supplies 5.41 Sure -Stop Traffic Sir, Co, supplies 10.63 E.P. Lumber Company, supplies 228..58 Ward & Ward, Contractors, service 37.65 Ted Finger, services 50.10 Kendrick-Bellwiy Co., supplies 10.20 Jess Poling, services 18.50 E.P. Garaie, repairs, 28.76 County Clerk, fee 3.i Clarence Graves, repairs, 26.22 E.P. Trail, printing, 242.10 Boulder Typewriter Exchange, supplies 4.52 Rowland Service Station, supplies 2.80 R.W. Brand, service, 300.0 Water Department, operating expenses 802.05 Light & Power, operating eense, 20141.20 Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote; `J'hose voting Yes' trustees Casey, Graves, Hurd, Morehead and Watson. The Board authorized the Mayor and Clerk to issue a Notice of Sale, for the $ 110,000. revenue bond auction, to be Fitt(' on Sept. 22nd, 8:00 P.M. Captain Nielson of the State .Highway Patrol appeared before the Board, and, expressed his a ppreciation to the Board d to the Police Dept. for the splendid cooperation received during the p.st season. A letter was presented to the Board, signed by 48 light & power custo- mers in the Glenhaven area, expressing their thanks for the fine service rendered by the Town during the past year.. There being no further business to come before theeeting, it was reg- ularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjounr. Attest:
