Minutes of a regRlar meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Larimer
County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the.
day of December , A. D. 19 46 at regular meeting hour.
Meeting called to order by Mayor Bo1ad__C. Brodie
23rd
Present: Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Trustees: G.T. Casey, C.A. Graven,
Hurd, Paul J. Monahan, Merl Morehead and George H. Watson.
Also Present: Maurice Cole, Supt. of Power
Lee H. Tallant, Supt. of Works
Verne H. Fanton, Town Clerk
Absents None.
Minutes of the regular meeting held on December 9th, read and approved as read.
The Cler presented the proposal of G.A. Kennedy of Longmont, to renew the
present garbage hauling contract . Trustee Casey moved that the contract
be renewed for the 1947 season only, upon the same terms and conditions.
Trustee r rehead seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion carried
by the following votes Those voting "Yee" trustees Casey, Hurd, Monahan,
Morehead and Watson. Those voting "No", none.
Maurice Cole, Lee Tallant and Verne H. Fanton proposed that the To be
host to the 1947 icipal League Convention on June 5th and 6th. The
Board approved the proposal.
Mr. Jesse Jay and Mr, Somine Henry -appeared before the board supporting
the application of mr. Henry and Mr. William C. Mnrdock, a partnership,
for the 1947 liquor license at the•Chez Jay. Following the discussion,
Trustee Watson moved that the application be approved. Trustee Monahan
seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion carried by the following
vote: Those voting "Yes" trustees -Casey, Graves, Hurd, Monahan, Morehead
and 'Watson. Those voting "No", none.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, it was regularly
moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn.
