Minutes of a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Larimer
County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the _......12th,,,

Meeting called to order by Mayor Pro Tem, S.M. Hurd
Present: Mayor Pro Tem, S.M. Hurd Trustees: C.E. Casey, Clarence Graves,
S.M. Hurd and George H. Watson.
Absent: Mayor Glen H. Preston, Trustees B.H. Lindley and Paul J.
Monahan.
Also present: Town Clerk, Verne H. Fenton
Supt. of Works, Lee H. Tallant.
Minutes of the regular meeting held on January 8, tead and approved as read.
%r or Pro Tem, S.M. Hurd administead the oath of office to Clarence A. Graves,
and welcomed him as a member of the Board of Trustees.
Trustees Wataon moved that the following bills be allowed and paid, and that
the Clerk be instructed to draw warrants for same. Trustee Casey seconded the
motion.

Upon roll call the above motion carried by the following vote: Those voting
"Yes", trustees Casey, Graves, Hurd and Watson. Those voting "No", None.
Trustee Casey moved that the liquor license application of Mrs. Al beard,
for 1945, at the Chez-Jay location, be approved. Trustee Watson seconded the
motion. upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Those
voting "Yes", trustees Casey, Graves, Hurd and Watson. Those voting "No",
None.
The clerk reported to the Board that The Estes Park Fire Departmnt had voted
to set side 0 500.00 and ear -mark it to be used for the purchase of a new
fire truck, and that the Fire Ipjartment is asking the Town to set aside an
equal amount, in the same fund for the same purpose. Following a discussion
Trustee Casey moved that the Town take 4 500.00 from their present Fire Truck
Depreciation Fund and match that of the Hire Departments, and that the total
amount be ear -marked for the sole purpose of purchasing a new fire truck.
Trustee Watson seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion carried by
the following vote: Those voting "Yes", trustees Casey, Graves, Hurd and
Watson. Those voting "No", None.

Minutes of a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Larimer
County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the
day of__ , A. D. 19 at regular meeting hour.
Meeting called to order by Mayor.
Present: Mayor Trustees:
Following a discussion regarding the Estes Park Firemen's Pension Fund,
Trustee Graves moved that the Town pay into said Pension Fund the amount
of 100.00 in accordance with the action taken by the Board on November
8th, 1943. Trustee Casey seconded the motion. The vote being taken, the
motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yes", trustees Casey,
Graves, Hurd and Watson. Those voting "No", None.
A letter of resignation from Leo F.C. Matlock, Superintendent of Light &
Power, was read to the Board. Trustee Graves moved that the real:platten be
accepted, effective February 15, 1946. Trustee Watson seconded the motion.
Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried.
Trustee Graves moved that Jess Poling be appointed temporary Superintendent
of Light & Power. Trustee Watson seconded the motion. Upon roll call said
motion unanimously carried.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, it was regularly
moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn.
