Casey, S.M. Hurd Paul J. Monahan and George H. ”atson. Town Attorney, Chilson. Also present, Town Clerk, Verne H. Fanton. Absent: Mayor Glen H. Preston and Trustee R.C. Brodie. This meeting called in accordance with the advertised Notice of Sa1efor the purpose of offering 0 250,000. worth of Estes ParkARevellueliOnds. Mayor Pro Tem Robert H. Lindley, called the meeting to order oed there being no sealed bids received, the motion for the Bonds was opened at 8:00 olclock P.M. The firms of Boettcher & Company, Amos Sadler & Company and Robert E. Sch iser and Company tendered their form of contract together with certified check in the amount of $ 5,000. Town attorney Hatfied. Chilson approved the contract forms and checks, and the a tion was started. The bidding having been finished, the Board declared the low bid to be by Boettcher and Company of Denver. Mr, David Lawrence of Boettcher & Comp.,:hy, presented, the Board with his signed contract and certified check. Trustee G.E. Casey moved that the Board Accept the bid of Boettcher & s91a it:the bid being 2i % interest on $ 250,000 Z of Estes Park/J4Sienlie Bond, with a premi of $ 4,100. Trustee Watson seconded the motion. The Clerk called the roll with the following result: Those voting ,NYeE01, trustees Casey, Hurd, Lindley, Monahan and Watson. Those voting "No, None. Trustee Hurd moved that the Town Clerk proceed to have the bonds printed as soon as possible. Trustee Watson seconded the motion. Upon roll call the above motion carried by the followi vote; Those votingtrfnee trusteero, Casey, Hurd, Lindley, Monahan nd Watson. Those voting l'No', None. There being no further business to come before the meeting, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the day of A. D. 19 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor..............aa_ Present: Mayor Trustees: STATE OF COLORADO COUNTY OF LARIMER TOWN OF ESTES PARK The Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park in the County of Larimer and State of Colorado met in Spec al session In full conformity with law and the ordinances and rules of said Town at the Town Hall, in the Town of Estes Park, being the regular place of meeting of said Board, on Saturday, the 4th day of November A.D. 1944,`at 1:00 o'clock P.M., at which meting ther were present and answering the roll call: Mayor: Glen H. Preston Trustees: G.E. Casey, S.M. Hurd, Robert H. Lindley, Paul J. Monahan and George H. Watson. Also Present: Verne H. Fanton, Town Clerk. Absent: Trustee Ronald C. Brodie. Thereupon the following proceedings, were had and taken to -wit: Trustee G.E. Casey introduced an ordinance entitle : ORDINANCE NO. 100 AN ORDENANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ACQUISITION AND OPERATION OF A MTJNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHT AND POWER SYSTEM FOR AND BY THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, CONSISTING OF A GENERATING PLANT AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WITH ALL THE NECESSARY APPURTENANCES: AUTHORIZING AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF NOT MORE THAN $ 250 000 TOWN OF ESTES PARK ELECTRIC LIGHT AND POWER REVENUE BONDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE COST OF SUCH ACQUISITION: PRESCRIBING THE FORM AND OTHER ➢ETAILS OF SAID BONDS: PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT OF SAID BONDS: PRESCRIBING OTHER ➢ETAILS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. which ordinance was thereupon read in full. It was then moved by Trustee S.M. Hurd and seconded by Trustee George H. Watson that all rules of this Board which might prevent, unless suspended, the final passage and adoption of this ordinance at this meeting, be and the same are hereby suspended for the purpose of permitting the final passage and adoption of said drdinance at this meeting. The question being upon the adoption of said motion and the suspension of the rules, the roll was called with the following result: Those voting aye: Trustees G.E. Casey, S.M. Hurd, R.H. Lindley, Paul J. Monahan , George H. Watson. Those voting nay: None. Five members of the Board having voted in favor of said motion, the presiding officer delared said motion carried and the rules suspended. Trustee R.H. Lindley then moved that said ordinance heretofore introduced and read in full at this meeting be now placed upon its passage. Trustee Paul J. Monahan seconded the motion; and the question being upon the placing of said ordinance upon its passage, the roll was called with the following result: 407 Cotun of COM Park, Larimer County, Colorado Minutes of meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Larimer County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hail in said Town of Estes Park on the day of , A. D. 19 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Present: Mayor Trustees: Those voting aye: Trustees G.E. Casey, S.M. Hurd, R.H. Lindley, Paul J. Monahan, George H. Watson. Those voting nay: None. The presiding officer declared the motion carried and the ordinance placed upon its passage. Trustee Paul J. Monahan then moved that said ordinance be passed and adopted as read. Trustee R.H. Lindley seconded the motion. The question being upon the passage and adoption of said ordinance, the roll was called with the following result: Those voting aye: Trustees G.E. Casey, S.M. Hurd, R.H. Lindley, Paul J. Monahan , George H. Watson. Those voting nay: None. The presiding officer thereupon declared that a majority of all the trustees elected having voted in favor thereof, the said motion was carried and the said ordinance duly passed and adopted. On motion duly adopted it was ordered that said ordinance be numbered 100 and after approval by the Mayor be published as in said ordinance designated and be rdcorded according to law.
