Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the ._..-.23-...... day of..,.,.,., March , A. D. 1942._ at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor. C.N. Rockwell Present: Mayor C.N. Rockwell Trustees: Guy W. Albright, Ronald C. Brodie, G.E. Casey, R.H. Lindley, and George H. Watson. Absent; Glen H. Preston. Minutes of the regular meeting held on M,,rch 9, read and appoved as read. Trustee Brodie moved and trustee Albright seconded the motion that the Clerk be instructed to draw a warrant in the amount of One Hundred Twenty One Dollars in favor of C.N. .Rockwell for expenses as itimized. Upon roll call above motion carried by the following vote; Yes, trustees Albright, Brodie, Casey, Lindley and Watson. No, None. Trustee Lindley moved and trustee Casey seconded the motion that; in accordance with recent tenative plans and discussion with the State Highway Department, this Board now goes on record to assure the Highway Department that the building known as "Park Theater Building", located on Moraine Drive within the Town of Estes Park, will be entirely removed from the present right of way, also, that the protion of the building now on the right of way, will be removed by May 1, 1942. Upon roll call above motion carried by the following vote; Yes, trustees Albright, Brodie, Casey, Lindley, and Watson. No, None. Holmes, Certified Public Accountant on the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending March 31, 1942, was presented to the Board and read in full by the Clerk, Trustee Watson moved and Trustee Albright seconded the motion that this report be accepted, Upon roll call above motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yes", trustees Albright, Casey, Lindley, Preston and Watson. Those voting "No", None. The report of Frank MO Holmes, on the Water Department, for the same period was then read in full. Trustee Casey moved and trustee Preston seconded the motion that this report be accepted. Upon roll call above motion carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yes, trustees Albright, Casey, Lindley, Preston & Watson, "No", None. In accordance with the results of the regular Town Election held on April 7th, 1942, the following med took their oath of office and was duly sworn to their respective offices; Mayor, Glen H. Preston, Trustees, G.E. Casey, S.M. Hurd, R.H, Lindley? Paul .1. Monahan, and George H. Watson. Ronald. C. Brodie being absent. Mayor Preston addressed C,N. Rockwell in appreciation for his many long years of active service to tlis community. Trustee Casey moved and Trustee Watson seconded the motion that the following appointments and committees, as submitted by l'ayor Preston, be and are hereby approved; for the coming term: Mayor Pro Tem, Town Treasurer Town. Clerk, Town Attorney, Supt. of Works, Town Marshall, Health Officer, Milk inspector R.W. Brand Police Magistrate, Verne H. Fenton, R.H. Lindley, R.C. Brodie, Verne H. Fenton Hatfield Chilson Lee H- Tallant E.E. Holton Dr. j.0. Mall Committees: Street & 41ey, R.H. Lindley, Geo, Watson, S.M. Hurd. Parks Pub, Bldgs., G.E. Casey, C.M. Hurd, R.C. Brodie, Public Utilities, Geo, Watson., R.H. Lindley, Paul Monahan. Building, S.M. Hurd, Paul Monahan, G.E. Casey. Finance & Collections, B.C. Brodie, G.E. Casey, R.H. Lindley. Publicity, Paul Monahan, R.C. Brodie, Geo. Wa,son. Upon roll call above motion carried by the following vote; "Yes", trustees Casey, Hurd, Lindley, Monahan and Watson. "No", None, After discussing the condition of the present oildd streets within the Twon, Trustee Watson moved and trustee Casey seconded the motion that the Town order approxiametly 6000 gal, of oil to seal these streets. Upon roll call above motion carried by the following vote, "Yes", trustees Casey, Hurd, Lindley, Monahan and Watson. "No", None. Mayor Preston announced that the annual clean up days for the Town would be May 18 and 19.
