Minutes of a....._..regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Perk, Larimer
County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the 26
day of May , A. D. 19.41._ at regular meeting hour.
Meeting called to order by Mayor C.N..___RQckWe_ll
Present: Mayor C.N. Rockwell Trustees: Guy W. Albright,
Ronald C. Brodie, G.E. Casey, R.H. Lindley,
Glen H. Preston, Geo. H. Watson. Absent, None.
Minutes of the regular meeting held on May 12, 1941, read and
approved as read.
Mr. A.E. Sprague appeared before the board and presented a
petition, asking that the recently installed Ripley and Hall
Memorial be removed. After some discussion the Parks Comm-
ittee was instructed to meet with the trustees of the Ripley
Memorial Fund, and report back to the Board any proposed
action.
Trustee Lindley moved and Trustee Albright seconded the motion
that the Parks committee be empowered to pruchase fencing for
the West side of Stanley Park, also to repair the present fence
on the South side of Stanley Park. Upon roll call the motion
was carried by the following vote: Yes, Trustees Albright,
Brodie, Casey, Lindley, Preston and Vatson. No, None.
Trustee Preston presented a proposal for a change in the corse
of the road that croses the property of Lora Godfrey. The
proposal was refered to the street and alley committee for
investigation.
Mayor Rockwell stated that numerous requests have been made
upon the Town to allow residents of the High Drive District
to tap and use the Town Water system. After some discussion
the Clerk was instructed to contact the Town Attorney as to
the legalZity and the Town's position on the above proposal.
There being no further business to come before the meeting
it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting
adjourn.
