Meeting called to order by Mayor .N- Rockwell -•- Present: Mayor C.N. Rockwell Trustees: Guy W. Albright, Ronald C. Brodie, '- ';HICRyl; R.H. Lindley, Glen H. Preston And George H. Watson. Absent: G.E. Casey. Minutes of the regular meeting held on March 24th, read and approved as read. Trustee Lindley moved and Trustee Albright seconded the motion that the following bills be allowed and paid and the clerk be instructed to draw warrants for same: Hendrie & Bolthoff, supplies $ 139.47 Hatfield Chilson services 76.25 R.Hardesty Mfg. Holmes, services 175.00 Upon roll call above motion was carried by the following vote: Yes, trustees Albright, Brodie, Lindley, Preston and Watson. No, None. 269 Cotun of Qotef$ Park, Larimer County, Colorado, 19... Minutes of a. ... meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Larimer County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the.... day of,. Meeting called to order by Mayor..,, Present: Mayor at regular meefing hour. Trustees: Mr. Carter and IL1r. McCurdy of the Mine & Smelter Supply Company, and Mr. Madigan of the Westinghouse Company, appeared before the board in regard to street lighting improvements. Mr. Madigan reported that he would diagram a proposal and forward it to the Board. Trustee Lindley introduced the following resolution: RESOLUTI 0 N WHEREAS, the Town of Estes Park has received from the Lawrence Construction Company a statement of claim for damages which Lawrence Construction Company claims to have sustained by delays in the furnishing of material for the construction of the Glacier Creek pipe line, which pipe line was constructed by Lawrence construction Company under contract with the Town of Estes Park: AND WHEREAS, the Town of Estes Park denies liability for said claim, NOW T'I EREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that said claim be and the same is hereb: denied and that the Town of Estes Park denies liability for said claim, or any part thereof. Upon motion by trustee Watson and seconded by trustee Albright, the above resolution was carried by the following vote: Those voting "Yes", trustees Albright, Brodie, Lindley, Preston & Watson. Those voting "No", None. Whereupon Mayor Rockwell declared the above resolution duly passed and adopted. Trustee Brodie moved and Trustee Watson seconded the motion that the Town be insured under a "Contractors Liability Policy". Upon roll call above motion was carried by the following vote: Yes trustees Albright, Brodie, Lindley, Preston & Watson. No, None. Mr. R.J. Lawrence and Mr. Irwin, attorney at Law, appeared before the meeting asking what action had been taken on Mr. Lawrences claim for damages. Mr. Lawrence was informed that his claim had been denied. Trustee Watson moved and trustee Preston seconded the motion that Dr. R.W. Brand be employed as Milk and Dairy Poducts Inspector, for the season of 1941, as a salary of $ 25.00 for each milk license issued by the Town. Upon roll call above motion was carried by the following vote, Yes, trustees, Albright, Brodie, Lindley, Preston and Watson. No, None. The application of E.O. Banks for Town Marshall for the season of 1941, was read to the board. Trustee Brodie moved and trustee watson seconded the motion that E.O. Banks be employed as marshall, starting May 1, 1941, at a salary of $ 125.00 per month. Upon roll call above motion was carried by the following vote: Yes, trustees Albright, Brodie, Lindley, Preston & Watson. No, None. After some discussion on the general nuisance caused by Cotun of Coteo Pork, Larimer County, Colorado, 19 Minutes of a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Lorimer County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the day of , A. D. 19 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Present: Mayor Trustees: stray dogs within the Town, the Clekk was instructed to see that the existing dog license ordinance be enforced in the future. The balance of the meeting was spent in reading and discussing the annual report of the financial condition of the Town, as submitted by Frank M. Holmes, Certified Public iiccountant. There being no further business to come before the teeting, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn. Attest: Clerk
