meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Larimer
County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the
day of March A. D. 1941,. at regular meeting hour.

Present: Mayor C.N. Rockwell Trustees: Guy W. Albright
Ronald 0. Brodie, G.E. Casey, R.H. Lindley Gien
H. Preston and George H. Watson. Also Engineer
Carroll H. Coberly.
Minutes of the regular meeting held on the 24th day of February
read and approved as read.
Trustee Lindley moved and Trustee Watson seconded the motion
that the bill of The Lawrence Construction Company for $ 2211.67
be allowed and paid, if and when it is approved by the water
committee and Engineer Coberly and Superentend of Works, Tallant;
and that the following bills be allowed and paid and the clerk
be instructed to draw warrants for same:

The Texas Company, supplies 46.42

Estes Park Plumbers, supplies 91.15

Upon roll call the above motion was carried by the following
vote: Yes, Trustees Albright, Brodie, Casey, Lindley, Preston
and Watson. No, None.
Mr. Chas. F. Hix and Mr. Simonton appeared before the board
and read a suggested, compiled insurance report. After
considerable discussion and some changes being made, Trustee
Casey moved and Trustee Albright seconded the motion that
a 5 year general form policy be issued on all town buildings
and contents, for the agreed amoOnts. Upon roll call the
above motion was carried by the following vote: Yes, Trustees
Albright, Brodie, Casey, Lindley, Preston and 1'atson. No, None.
Trustee Lindley moved and Trustee Casey seconded the motion
that Mr. Frank Holmes, Certified Public Account of Denver,
be employed to audit the Town books for the fiscal year
ending March 31, 1941. Upon roll call above motion carried
by the following vote: Yes, Trustees Albright, Brodie,
Casey, Lindley, Preston and Watson. No, None.

Meeting called to order by Mayor,
Present: Mayor Trustees:
Trustee Preston introduced an Ordinance entitled, "An Ordinance'
Prohibiting the Practice of Going in and Upon Private Residences
in The Town of Estes Park, Colorado, by Solicitors, Peddlers,
Hawkers, Itinerant Merchants and Transient Vendors of Goods,
Ware and Merchandise including Books, Pictures, Magazines and
Periodicals, not Having Been Requested or Invited so to Do
Declaring Such Practice To Be a Nuisance and Fixing Penalties For
the Violation Thereof". The Ordinance was then read in full.
Trustee Casey moved and Trustee Watson seconded the motion that
the said Ordinance entitled
" AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PRACTICE OF GOING IN AND
UPON PRIVATE RESIDENCES IN THE TOWN OF EST'ES PARK,
COLORADO, BY SOLICITORS, PEDDLERS HAWKERS, ITINERANT
MERCHANTS AND TRANSIENT VENDORS O' GOODS, WARES, AND
MERCHANDISE, INCLUDING BOOKS, PICTURES, MAGAZINES AND
PERIODICALS, NOT HAVING BEEN REQUESTED OR INVITED SO
TO DO, DECLARING SUCH PRACTICE TO BE A NUISANCE AND
FIXING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF"
be passed and adopted, that said Ordinance be numbered 93 and
that it be published according to law. Upon roll call said motion
carried by the following vote: Yes, Trustees Albright, Brodie,
Casey, Lindley, Preston and Watson. No, None. Whereupon Mayor
Rockwell declared said motion carried and said Ordinance passed
and adopted.
Trustee Lindley moved and Trustee Brodie seconded the motion
that the motion passed on November 22nd, 1937, refusing all
applications for tpps to furnish town water beyond the town
limits be and is hereby recinded, and in the future the town
will allow new taps on any of the existing mains. Upon roll call
said motion was carried by the following vote: Yes, Trustees
Albright, Brodie, Casey, Lindley, Preston and Watson. No, None.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, it
was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn.
