Meeting called to order by Mayor C .N. Rockwell
Present: Mayor .C.N . Rockwell Trustees: Guy W. Albright,
Ronald -C.. Brodie, Garry E. Casey, Robert H. Lindley,
George H. Watson. Clerk, V.H. Fanton
Absent: Glen H. Preston.
Minutes of the re ular meeting held on April 8, 1940
were read and approved as read.
Mr. Peterson of the Hall Baking Company appeared before
the Board and discussed his situation in connection
with the Town's Peddlers Ordinance. No definite action
was taken by the Board at this time.
Trustee Albright moved and trustee Lindley seconded the
motion that R.W. Brand be appointed milk inspector for
The Town of Estes Park, with a guarantee of two hundred
dollars for services rendered during the 1940 season.
Upon roll call said motion was carried by the following
vote: Yes; trustees, Albright, Brodie, Casey, Lindley,
and Watson. No: None.
Four applications were submitted to the board for the
position of Marshall for the 1940 season. After some
discussion, trustee Casey moved and trustee Brodie
seconded the motion that E.O. ::nke be appointed
Marshall for the 1940 season and that he start work
May 1. Upon roll call said motion was carried by the
following vote; Yes: Trustees Albright, Brodie, Casey
Lindley and Natson. No: None.
Mallor Rockwell pointed out that the Marshalls were
badly in need of new uniforms. Trustee Brodie moved
and trustee Lindley seconded the motion that the Town
buy new uniforme for the two Marshalls. Upon roll call
said motion was carried by the following vote: Yee;
trustees Albright, -Brodie, Casey, Lindley, and Watson.
No: None.
The matter of appointing an electrical inspector for the
current term was brought to the attention of the Board.
Trustee Lindley moved and trustee Brodie seconded the
motion that the Building committee be empowered to
investigate the operation of the present wiring ordinance
and instruct the Clerk of any action they. wish taken,
and to make the appointment of an electrical inspector.
Upon roll call said motion was carried by the following
vote: Yes; trustees Albright, Brodie, Casey, Lindley
and Watson. Not None.
Trustee latson moved and trustee Casey seconded the
Motion that the annual "Clean Up Days" for the Town
be set for y 10 and 1:y 11. Upon roll call said
motion was carried by the following vote: Yes;
Trustees, Albright, Brodie, Casey, Lindley and Watson.
Not None.

There being no further business to come before the
meeting, it was regularly moved, E)econded, and carried
that the meeting adjorn.
