Minutes of a regular ...meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Larimer
County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the
day of. July A. D. 19, 38.. at regular meeting hour.

Minutes of a regular meeting held June 15, 1938 were read and
approved as read.
Trustee Boyd moved and Trustee Hall seconded the motion that the
following bills be allowed and paid and Clerk be instructed to draw
warrants for same:

Upon roll call said motion was carried by the following votes
Yes, Trustees Boyd, Brodie, Casey, Hall, Hurd and Preston. No, none.
Letter from Wl L. Warnock, dated June 29th, 1938 was read.
Whereupon Trustee Casey moved and Trustee Hurd seconded the motion
that the Town accept quit claim deed for rightofway of Town water
line and tank from Edith A. Warnock, in consideration of granting a
credit of $153.00 on water rental account of Chas. E. Evett, and
allow one tap on the water system of the Town to the said Mrs. Edith
A. Warnock to supply water to her lot at the regular connection fee
and rental. Upon roll call said motion was carried by the following
votes Yes, Trustees Boyd, Brodie, Casey, Hall, Hurd and Preston.
No, none.
Petition dated June 27, 1938, signed by John J. Manford, asking
that street across Lot 16, Bonnie Brae Addition to the Town be vacated
was read. Thereupon Trustee Hall moved and Trustee Preston seconded the
motion that the following described street be hereby vacated. 'Begin-
ning at the SW corner of Lot 16 of Bonnie Brae Addition to the Town of
Estes nark, Larimer County, Colo., thence along the South line of said
Lot 16 N. 62°50' E, Addietance of 108.3 feet, thence continuing along
said South line N. 48 24' E. a distance of 43.2 feet to the southeast
corner of said Lot 16, thence S.87°01' E. a distance of 22.9 feet to
the South line of said Street to a point S. 0°32' W. of the place of
beginning, thence N. 0°32' E. a distance of 18.2 feet to the place of
beginning.* Upon roll call said motion wee carried by the following
vote: Yes, Trustees Boyd, Brodie, Casey, Hall, Hurd and Preston. No,none.
Trustee Hall moved and Trustee Preston seconded the motion that Public
Liability policy covering the Town buildings, streets and alleys, and the
Town park in the United Stated Fidelity and Guaranty Company at a premium
of $267.79 be accepted for one year. Upon roll call said motion was
carried by the following votes Yes, Trustees, Boyd, Brodie, Casey, Hall,
Hurd and Preston. No, hone.
Trustee Casey moved and Trustee Hall seconded the motion that Clerk
be instructed to draw a warrant to the Estes Park Chamber of Commerce for
4500.00 for advertising purposes. Upon roll call said motion was carried
by the following vote: Yes, Trustees Boyd, Brodie, Casey, Hall, Hurd and
Preston. No, none.
There being no further business to come before the meeting it was
regularly moved, seconded and carried that meeting adjourn.
