Present: Mayor G. N. Rockwell Trustees: Harry B Boyd, „G. E. Gee eYlp
C, Byron Hall, S. U, Hurd, Glen H. Preston, and E. R. Rivera. Clerk, Chez. F. Hix.
Absent, none.
Minutes of meeting held April 12th, 1937 were read and approved eread.
Mr. Philip McClave, Veterinary from Fort Collins, Colorado, came before the
Board tomake application. as Milk Inspector of the Town during the summer season
of 1937. 'tters pertaining tothis office were discussed with him.
Trustee Hall introduced and moved that the following resolution be passed and
adopted. Whereupon said resolution was read in full and is es follows:
WHEREAS, the Town. of Este Park is about to change tha course of that part of
Riverside Parkway lying eat of the Big Thompson River;
A J aid Town desires to vacate that portion of Riverside Parkway
that will not be included in the new course of said Riverside Parkway;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes
Perk, Colorado, that the following portions of that part of Riverside Parisssy
lying east of the Big Thompson River as shown bythe recorded plat of Riverside
Subdivision to. the Town of Estes Perk, Cololdo, be vacated, to -wit:
1. That part of said Riverside Parkway lying east of the following line:
said line begins at the southwest corner of Lot "• nty-three (23) of Riverside
Subdivision of the Town of Eates Park, Colorado, said line runs thence north
0°34' west 163.44 feet to the point where said lime intersects the present
easterly boundary of said Riverside Parkway.
2. et part of said Riverside Parkway lying west of the following line:
said line Imagine et a point from whence the northwest corner of Lot twenty-four (24),
Riverside Subdivision, according. to the recorded plat thereof,:beare South' 82°42'
East 26.5 feet; said line runs thence North 0034' West a distance of 57.2 feet
to e point where said line intersects the present westerly boundary of said River-
side -Parkway), as shown.by the plat of Riverside Subdivision.
3. That part of said Riverside Parkway lying east of the following line:
said. line begins at a point North 82042* West .15 feet from the northwest corner
of Lot T .nty-nine (29), Riverside Subdivision, and said line runs from said point
South. 25045' West 271.59 feat to point where said line intersects the easterly
line of said Riversid4 Parkway aa shown by the plat of said Riverside Subdivision.
It is the intention hereof that the title to those parts of Riverside Parkway.
hereby vacated, shall. revert tothe owners of the abutting property.
A plat of those portions of Riverside Parkway hereby vacated' is hereto atta a d
andsaid plat also shore the new location and boundaries of Riverside Parkwaywhen
the propoeed chang s have bean made.
Whereupon, Trustee Casey seconded the motion and upon roll call said motion
s carried and said resolution was passed and adopted by the following vote:
Trustees Boyd, Casey, Hall, Hurd, Preston and Rivers. Nay, none.
Truetve Casey moved and Trustee Rivers seconded the motion that the Clerk be
authorized to issue liquor license to W. F. Filkington to sell liquor for con-
sumption on the premises known es Switzerland Inn, license to run from Way 22nd
until September 6th, 1937 inclusive, at the. annual license fee, and that Clerk be
hereby empowered to approve State application of Mr. Pilkihgton. Upon roll oall.
said motion was carried by the following vote: Yea, Trustees Boyd, Casey, Hall,
Hurd, Freston and Rivers. Nay, none.
Trustees Hall and Hurd and Clerk Hix were appointed on a resolution committee
endorsing Ed Gooch for re -appointment as Sanitary Inspector of this district,
copy of said resolution to be sent to the Board of County Commissioners. Said
resolution is as folio :

Minutes of a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Larimer
County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the
day of. A. D. 19_ at regular meeting hour.
Meeting called to order by Mayor
Present: Mayor Trustees:
WHEREAS, there is to be appointed a sanitary inspector for this
district within the next few days, and
HE thie Board appreciates the cooperation and the excellent
manner in which Ed Gcech, the present sanitary inspector, has fulfilled.
this office,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of the TowTi of
Estes Bark heartily. recommends Ed, Gooch for this office and begs that you
give him your kind consideration for re —appointment to this office.
At thio time the meeting was informed, of the death. of Samuel Service
who was Mayor of the Town from April 1925 to April 1929.
The Meyor appointed Trustees Casey and Boyd and Clerk Hix to draw
up a resolution of condelence to be sent to the family of Mr. Service,
and Trustee Freston on e committee to order flowers for the funeral services.
Upon regular motion, seconded andunanimously carried meeting was
imnaediately adjourned, to reconvene on Thursday, April 29th at 7:30 o'clock
