Minutes of a regular _meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Larimer
llth
County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the
day of MaY , A. D. 1936 et regular meeting hour.
Meeting called to order by Mayor a. Rockwell
Pmmenh Mayor C. N. Rockwell Trustees: Harry B. Boyd, G. E. Casey, C. Byron
Hall, S. M. Hurd, Glen H. Preston and E. R. Rivers; Clerk Mas. F. Hix; Absent, none.
Minutes of meeting held April 27th, 1936 were read and approved as read.
Trustee Casey moved and Trustee Freston seconded the motion that drain tile
be purchased and installed necessary to complete the job for draining Riverside
Parkway on the west side of Big Thompson River at the Jelsema apartment, the drain
running to the river. Upon roll call, said motion was carried by the following vote:
Yea, Trustees Boyd, Casey, Hall, Hurd, Preaton and Rivere. Nay, none.
Trustee Rivers moved and Trustee Hurd seconded the motion that license be granted
V. F. Pilkington to sell liquor malt, vinuous and spiritous liquors by the drink for
consumption on the premises known as Switzerland Inn located in the Service building
on Elkhorn Avenue, the license to expire September 8th, 1936, and a license fee of
$325.00 be made. Upon roll call said motion was carried by the following vote: Yea
Trustees Boyd, Casey, Hall, Hurd, Preston, and Rivers. Nay, none.
Trustee Casey moved and Trustee Hall seconded the motion that the following bills
be allowed and paid and Clerk be instructed to draw warrants for same:

Upon roll oall said motion was carried by the following vote: Yee, Trustttes, Boyd,
Casey, Hall, Hurd, Preaton and Rivers. Nay, none.
Clerk stated that he had met with the Library Committee of the Womans Club and that it
was the committee's wish that the board of trustees have the contents of the library insured
for the sum of $5000. Thereupon Trustee Casey moved and Trustee Hurd seconded the motion tha
the Clerk be ordered to place insurance in the sum of $5000 on the contents of the library.
