Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the :4.4th day of August , A. D.1936 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor G • R. Ro Present: Mayor C. N. Roc 11 Harry B. Boyd, 5. M. Hurd, Glen H. Preston. Clerk, has. F. Hix. Absent, Trustee E. R. Rivers. 1,1 Trustees: C. Byron Hall, G. E. Casey, Minutes of regular meeting held August 10th, 1936,were read and approved as read. , Trustee Casey moved and Trustee Hall seconded the motifo,adhat the Town donate up to $20Q.00, if it is necessary, to the State Highwalr Department in order to have the approach road oiled for approximately fair hundred feet East from the Town limits on,Elkhorn Avenue. Upon roll callsaid motion carried by the following vote: Yea, Trustees Boyd, Casey, Hall, Hurd, and Preston. Nay, none. Trustee Hall moved and Trustee Boyd seconded the motion that the following resolution be passed andadopted: WHEREAS, F. O. Stanley has deeded a tract cf land containing approximately fifty—four acres of land, to be known as Stanley Park, to the Town of Estes Park for a public park and recreational grounds; AND, WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Fark realizes the value to the citizens of Estee Park of this fine gift and for the happiness it will bring to the people of this community and to the people who visit this region in the years to come, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, that this board hereby conveys to Mr. F. O. Stanley its sincere thanks and appreciation for the gift.of this valuable property to the Town of Estes Park and its inhabitants. BEIT FURTHER OLVED that this tract of land shall be designated and known as STANLEY PARK. BE IT FURTHER RESOL that copy of this resolution be conveyed to Mr. Stanley. Upon roll call said motion carried by the following vote: Yea, Trustees Boyd, Casey, Hall, Hurd, and Preston. Nay, none. It was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn until Tuesday, August 25th, 1936 at 7:30 o'clock P. M. ATTEST„:„__ Clerk Mayor
