Present: Mayor Frank C. Bond Trustees: C. Byron Hall, T. C. Jelsema,
Clyde M. Low, E. R. Rivers and C. N. Rockwell; Clerk, Chas. F. Hix, Absent,
Trustee Glen H. Preston.
Minutee of a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees held on
roh 27th, 1933 were read and approved as read.
Trustee Rivers moved and Trustee Hall seconded the motion that
the following bills be allowed and paid and that the clerk be instructed
to draw warrants for same:

Minutes of a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park, Larimer
County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the
day of A. D. 19 at regular meeting hour.
Meeting called to order by Mayor
Present: Mayor Trustees:

Upon roll call, said motion was carried by the following vote: Yea, Trustees
Hall, Jelsema, Low, Rivers and Rockwell. Nay,None.
The matter of appointments of offices and committees for the fiscal
year beginning Apri1445.933 was brought to the attention of the board by the
Mayor who made the following appointments:
Street and Alley Committee, Rockwell
Sewer Committee, Hall, Preston and Jelsema
Building Committee, Rivers, Hall and Rockwell
Custodian of Buildings, Low
Treasurer, Preston
Clerk, Hix
Health Officer, Dr. Roy Wiest
Attorney, Ab H. Romans
Mayor Pro Tem, Jelsema
Police Judge, J. J. Duncan
Supt. of Water Department, Lee H. Tallant
Trustee Rockwell moved and Trustee Hall seconded the motion that the above
appointments as made by the Mayor be and the same are hereby confirmed. Upon
roll call said motion s carried by the following vote: Yea, Trustees, Hall,
Jelsema, Low, River s and Rockwell. Nay, None .
The matter of House Bill No. 3b7 entitled "An Act Regarding the Sale
and .e.,nufacture of Beer; as recently passed by the General Assembly of the State
of Colorado, came up for consideration. After some discussion the following
resolution was introduced by Trustee Rockwall
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, under the provisions of House Bill No. 3E7 of the Session Laws of '
the State of Colorado of 1933, the sale of beer containing not to exceed 3.2'/
alcohol has been legalized;
AND WHEREAS, it is mandatory that the towns and cities issue licenses for
such sale on paying the license fee of' Eighty Dollars ($80.00) for a license for
one year and complying with the provisions of said House Bill;
AND THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Clerk be and he is hereby
authorized to iesue a retail beer lice se to any person, firm or corporation
applying for such license upon said applicant signing and swearing to an applic-
sttion, in which shall be stated that he hee complied with all the provisions of
the Laws of the State of Colorado relative thereto; provided, however, that
every such license shall be issued expressly subject to any rules and regulations
which the Board of Trustees may hereafter adopt relative to the sale of such
beer. All such licenses shall be countersigned by the Mayor.
Thereupon Trustee Rockwell moved and Trustee Hall seconded that the above resol-
ution be passed and adopted. Upon roll call said motion was carried by the
following vote: Yea, Trustees Hall, Jelsema, Low, Rivers 'rid Rockwell. Nay, None.
Trustee Glen H. Preston as Town Treasurer submitted the following report:
