RESOLUTION12-27APPROVINGAMEMORANDUMOFUNDERSTANDINGWITHTHEESTESPARKMUSUEMFRIENDS&FOUNDATION,INC.WHEREAS,since1992,aftertheEstesParkMuseumbecameaTownofEstesParkdepartment,theEstesParkMuseumFriends&Foundation,Inc.(EPMF&F)shifteditsrolefromonefocusedongovernanceintoanon-profitfinancialsupportorganization;andWHEREAS,withinthatrole,theEPMF&FhasconsistentlycommittedtofinancingannualoperationsandspecialprojectsoftheEstesParkMuseum;andWHEREAS,theEPMF&FhasannuallyworkedinpartnershipwiththeTownofEstesParktosuccessfullyfurthertheEstesParkMuseum’smission;andWHEREAS,theTownBoardwishestoenteramemorandumofunderstandingreferencedinthetitleofthisresolutionforthepurposeofdefiningtherolesandresponsibilitiesoftherelationshipbetweentheEPMF&FandtheTownofEstesPark.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO:TheBoardapproves,andauthorizestheMayortosign,thememorandumofunderstandingreferencedinthetitleofthisresolutioninsubstantiallytheformnowbeforetheBoard.DATEDthis______dayofO1)C&LC,2021.ATTEST:TovCIerkAPPROVEDASTOFORM:OWNOFESTESPTownAttorney
