Home My WebLink AboutRESOLUTION 09-21RESOLUTION09-21APPROVINGANINTERGOVERNMENTALAGREEMENTWITHLARIMERCOUNTYFORADMINISTRATIONOFTHESMALLBUSINESSRELIEFPROGRAMWHEREAS,SenateBill20B-001,regularlyreferredtoastheSmallBusinessRelief(SBR)ProgramadministeredbyColoradoDepartmentofLocalAffairs(DOLA),wasenactedonDecember7,2020,appropriatingstatefundingtoproviderelieftosmallbusinessesintargetedindustries(i.e.,restaurants,bars,breweries,wineries,distilleries,caterers,movietheatres,fitnessandrecreationalsportscenters)impactedbyseverecapacityrestrictionsduetotheCOVID-19pandemic;andWHEREAS,LarimerCounty(“theGrantor”),hasbeeninformedbyDOLAthatitwillreceiveanallocationof$2,203,110instatefundingtoproviderelieftothetargetedsmallbusinesses,asoutlinedinSenateBill20B-001;andWHEREAS,theGrantorwillworkinpartnershipwiththeTownofEstesParkandothermunicipalities(Grantor,Grantee,andtheothermunicipalitiestogetherreferredtoasthe“Partners”;andGranteeandtheothermunicipalitiestogetherreferredtoas“Hubs”andindividuallyas“Hub”)tosuccessfullyadministertheSBRPrograminordertoprovidereliefpaymentstoeligiblesmallbusinessesinaccordancewithSenateBill20B-001;andWHEREAS,theTownBoardwishestoenteranintergovernmentalagreementreferencedinthetitleofthisresolutionforthepurposeofdefiningtheprocessbywhichtheDOLASmallBusinessReliefProgramfundswillbeadministered.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO:TheBoardapproves,andauthorizestheMayortosign,theintergovernmentalagreementreferencedinthetitleofthisresolutioninsubstantiallytheformnowbeforetheBoard.
